The Strathmore has only been open for a few years following a stunning refurbishment. The food is great, the atmosphere is cosy and comfy, live music is on weekly and they have TVs for sporting events.

A local venue that has made the effort to suit the surrounding community. The original small pub that long-established residents might favour opens out into a large dining extension with full height windows and an open fire at the rear of the building. The outdoor side area appeals to students and offers a casual snack menu. A surprising find within walking distance of the West End and set between the Fire Station and student housing.

reasonable pub grub and good selection of beers. Friendly staff, also do quizzes and live music as well. Cool local spot.

Local pub with decent food and a good spirits selection. A small outdoor seating area at the back is nice in summer. Dog friendly.
