Dobreč is located on the peninsular at the entrance to the bay, once only accessible by boat and through a very steep and rugged footpath from the village (Mrkovi), which is now lost to the vegetation. However now a new road leads down to the beach and restaurant. Dobreč means isolation and the name is taken after the bay. It is exceptionally peaceful and tranquil with its own microclimate of typical Mediterranean vegetation. Note at time of writing (2021) the road is not surfaced and steep in parts so only accessible with a 4x4 car

A romantic pebble beach nestled in between two wooded headlands. leaving visitors with an dramatic impression ; and asking themselves, do places like this really exit anymore? Accessible only by boat from Herzeg Novi, Rose, Zanjice and Miriste, Facilities; Dobrec has a charming seafood restaurant and cafe, an a wide selection of beach beds, chairs, umbrellas, toilets and changing rooms. Surf boards and goggles lie around for guests to avail of, and the sea is crystal clear. Swim and eat fresh fish on tables set in a small wood situated adjacent to the beach, before dozing on hammocks under gently swaying trees. 5 mins by boat from Miriste beach - Call Nebojsa 069 597080 for charter for small or larger groups
