The whole trail from Elroy to Sparta is beautiful, but this section is especially so. Take Kendall south to Hwy 71 and turn left. Take the next left on County T. About a mile up the road you'll find the trail intersection. The west direction leads to the tunnel. Take a flashlight or headlamp if you plan to go through the tunnel.

Looking too bike? Here is the place. You can enter the trail in Norwalk, 17 miles and adjacent to Bailey's Diner.

SUPER COOL BIKING OR WALKING EXPERIENCE. From I-90, take Exit 28 toward Sparta onto SR 16, heading west. Go 2.3 miles, and turn left onto S. Water St. Go 0.5 mile, and turn left onto Milwaukee St. Turn immediately right into the trailhead parking lot. The trailhead is at the old railroad depot at 111 Milwaukee St.
