Pricesmart is the equivalent to Costco in Costa Rica. It's located 10 minutes away from AltaVista. It does require a membership, but if your looking for volume and quality it's a great option.

PriceSmart is one of Costa Rica's largest discount club supermarkets must have a membership but there cafe is open to anyone
