This has been very hit and miss with periods of closure and new management. It is currently open so it might be worth stopping for a drink to check it out for yourself if you are in the neighbourhood.

Fantastic food and drink, best to book in advance. dog friendly and outside seating area as well.

Good standard pub grub (Rhayader doesn't do Michelin Stars..) Friendly staff, Steak nights, occasional Quizzes, Real Ales.
