On the right side of Sensoji temple main-hall, there is Asakusa shrine. It is interesting to know that, Buddhist Sensoji and Shintoism Shrine is staying together here. It is much smaller than temple, though, seeing its old architecture of more than 350 years old, and much more quiet and peaceful atmosphere are enough worth visiting. Sometimes on weekends, you can see a monkey show there, too! My recommend is to buy a cute amulets at the shrine office!

Asakusa Shrine (浅草神社 Asakusa-jinja), also known as Sanja-sama ("Shrine of the Three gods"), is one of the most famous Shinto shrines in Tokyo. Located in Asakusa, the shrine honors the three men who founded the Sensō-ji.
