You can sit, unwind, and watch the wildlife with a distant view of Bald Knob Cross. The cabin sits in the heart of Shawnee National Forrest and the Southern IL wine trail. You can enjoy the fire pit while watching the stars, with no distractions from neighbors, traffic, or lights. You can enjoy catch & release fishing from the bank

Hardy and Cherokee Village are each a 2 mile drive. Fill your days with the beauty of the outdoors and come home to play pool or enjoy a campfire.

The home sits between two hill ridges surrounded by 180 acres. It is a park like setting. 30 minutes from Gene Snyder and I-71 (Louisville). Historic Lagrange Ky and Madison In, are a must see and close by.

The treehouse has a full kitchenette with a stove top oven, microwave, dining area, Fireplace with a 65-inch smart TV. The L shape sectional couch with chaise turns into a sleeper. Our cabin is just minutes away from the Trail of Tears, Dixon Springs State Park, the delicious Chocolate Factory, the towns of Golconda, Metropolis, and the bigger city of Paducah. NEW IN OCTOBER 2021: We have installed high-speed fiber optic WiFi to the cabin.

Secluded at the end of a private drive on the quiet end of the Lake of the Ozarks, our lake home offers recreation, relaxation, and fishing opportunities. The house is on the water at the 67MM of the lake and features 300 feet of private shoreline. A deck that overhangs the water is just a few steps from a patio equipped with a propane/charcoal grill and outdoor cooking area. Two kayaks are included to explore the shoreline and its wildlife. An inviting hot tub beckons.

Quiet serene location! Our personal cabin is located just 400 yards from Truman Lake. Short walk to the cove for wildlife viewing or Higgins' Landing boat launch is just across the highway, and has plenty of parking for vehicle/s, boat trailer, and great bank fishing. Clinton and Warsaw are a 30 min drive, and Iconium is a 12 min drive. Don't forget to look around in the lake feeder creeks, lot's of arrowheads in the area. We now have super fast WI-FI!
