Welcome! We are delighted to share with you our favorite room in an 1895 Georgian Colonial home. This comfortable sunporch suite is ideal for two guests or a family with a young child. Located in a safe, quiet, and wonderful section of Pittsburgh, we are close to the zoo and Children's Hospital, and a short drive from downtown. This suite has its own separate entrance, bathroom, and kitchenette. The wall-to-wall windows look over the front yard, courtyard, and our neighbor's Victorian home.

Tucked away in the hills of Pittsburgh in a removed neighborhood, you'll feel far from the city. This is NOT a hipster, walkable neighborhood. Chirping birds and peace is what you'll awaken to. The house is 7 miles from downtown (30 min drive) and a car or Uber/Lyft is crucial, though the 56 bus to downtown is an easy 5 min walk. Not accessibility friendly--built in 1952, your room is on the 2nd floor, and narrow stairs are needed to access everything. Rooms and doorways are cozy.

A private side entrance and a large basement room with two lounging couches, a leather massage chair, and a queen size bed. Cable, wi-fi, and an additional hdmi plug are provided. Also supplied is a microwave, fridge and a Keurig for your convenience. You will have a private bathroom across the hall with a walk in shower. We are located within 15 minutes of all the major arteries around Pittsburgh as well as Downtown itself. We live upstairs and respect privacy and quiet hours.
