Famous pier with scenic oceanfront restaurants, shopping. 景色の良い海に面したレストラン、ショッピング、お散歩を楽しめる、日本人も多いエリアの有名な埠頭です。

ボートがたくさん並んでいて、生きてるロブスター、カニなどを、選んでから料理してくれるレストランが、幾つもあります。生きたウニも、その場で開いてくれて、食べられます。車で約７−８分。

RIVIERA VILLAGE (1800-1900 Catalina Blvd): This is the heart of Redondo Beach. From here, you can walk to the Esplanade to join the other walkers, take a jog on the beach or enjoy a swim in the ocean. This area is packed with great restaurants, Trader Joe’s, coffee shops and cute boutiques. Sunday mornings there is a farmer’s market across from Trader Joe’s. Some of our favorite spots include Yellow Vase and Good Stuff (for breakfast and lunch,) Coffee Cartel (for coffee or tea any time of the day,) Rockefeller, Rebel Republic, Redondo Beach Brewing Company and Mexican. Riviera (for outside lunch and dinner or a drink) and for vegan and vegetarian food we love Green Temple. Or you can grab a sandwich at Sacks on the Beach and head to the Esplanade to watch the sunset.

As you may infer from its name Redondo Beach features a mile and a half of sandy beachfront as you venture south of the marina and pier area. Facilities are scattered along the way and you'll only find street parking, save for a small metered lot at George Freeth Way and Esplanade and another just over the Torrance border, which tends to keep the beach pretty low-key.
