Conveniently located between Highlands and Cashiers North Carolina, guests can enjoy the amenities of both towns as well as nearby hiking at Whiteside Mountain & Glenville lake.

Brookside Cottage

Brookside cottage is newly renovated and surrounded by forest in the mountains of western North Carolina. A mountain stream descends in front of the cottage providing an restful water feature. Located in Transylvania county between Brevard and Cashiers, the area is named the “Land of Waterfalls”. Supplies (food, drink, etc.) are available 2 miles from cottage. Caution to low riding cars/sports cars: the last half mile to this cottage is a gravel road and must ford a small stream.

The weather in Cashiers is ideal for hiking, biking, fly fishing, golf or just relaxing! We do ask three day bookings on weekends. Your dog is welcome - there is a $100 dog fee.
