We had a lovely stay at this cozy and comfortable farmhouse. It was clean, charming, and exactly as described. While there’s no Wi-Fi or cable, we appreciated the heads-up and enjoyed unplugging with their great collection of nostalgic VHS tapes. The pool table was a hit with the husbands, and the check-in and check-out process was straightforward. The location was easy to find, and everything felt very welcoming. Highly recommend for a peaceful, off-the-grid getaway!

Absolutely amazing place to stay walking distance of the restaurant and grocery store . Felt like hunting camp at home ! Gary goes above and beyond to help you while you’re there and make you feel welcome !! Highly recommend his place!!

We stayed here while hunting in the area. Great place with plenty of room for large groups, well stocked home. Ample trailer parking, bird cleaning area, and the summer kitchen is a great bonus with a grill, griddle etc. Jason communicated well about check in instructions and also called after check in to verify we didn’t have any questions and provide additional information.

We enjoyed staying at Susan's! we played some of the games, the boys enjoyed the X-Box upstairs! the view of the Lake was beautiful, and we used the kayak, paddle boards, and Lilly Pad several times!!! We also appreciated her recommendation for the Pontoon rental.

As always, a great stay at Pekin Lodge. Clean, neat, quiet, pet-friendly. And free ice, what a lifesaver! Chris is very responsive and helpful, too. I always get a kick out of the other guests.
