A perfect hideaway for those looking for quiet relaxation. This stylish, glass-walled, waterside studio comes fully equipped with a comfy double sofa bed that folds away to create a lounging sofa, giving extra space to spread out . There’s a private hot tub, waterside seating, sun loungers and an elevated deck offering glorious views across the estuary. Steps lead down to a fire pit terrace with guest kayaks on the beachside of the property too if you fancy heading out to explore on the water

Tidelands Boathouse on the waterfront

Light bright airy accommodation on the foreshore of the River Teign, in the village of Combeinteignhead. Fantastic views, peaceful location. Wood fired hot tub (Additional charge applies). Close to Torbay, and Dartmoor National Park, by car 15 minutes to Torquay, 20 minutes to Exeter and 30 minutes to Dartmouth. 2 hours 30 minutes to London by train. Coombe Cellars bar and restaurant is 250m along the foreshore. Templer way footpath passes the front of the property. (Haytor to Teignmouth)

Unique and perfectly situated coastal retreat

Unwind and relax in this historic gem of a home. There has been a mill on this site since 1298 and in 2019 we completely refurbished the current 18th century milll to a very high standard to ensure a truly comfortable and magical getaway. You'll be surrounded by trees, bird song and the constant sound of running water and the sight of our resident heron by the waterfall. The mill lies in a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in Daphne du Maurier country, on the Fowey estuary.
