The Overwater Bungalow at Sundance

Beach homes are fun, but take things a step further and immerse yourself with 270-degree views of the fjord at this historic boat house. A secret passageway leads to a speak-easy-style bedroom, and then down to a private hot tub where you can soak while watching the sun set over Olympic National Park. Big Beef Spit is a five-minute walk away. A neighboring guest house and caretaker’s cottage are also both available for rent. **Please note that the loft bedroom gets chilly during cold weather.

Enjoy a scenic 1 hour drive to Olympic National Park, or watch for porpoises, otters and the resident bald eagles from the couch.

Experience healing and peace with the sound of gentle waves on Discovery Bay. Our cabin was built in 1939 by our grandfather who was an early businessman in Port Townsend. He wisely recognized for decades to come this would be a prized place of rest, enjoyed by 5 generations. Our two kayaks for beginners and new paddle board are available for rent. Explore the unbelievable beauty of the Olympic National Park just a few miles away featuring hiking to rainforests, glaciers, and mountain lakes.

McDonald Cove Cabin

Rustic cozy cabin. Open concept for easy entertaining with glorious views of the water. Main floor bedroom with Queen bed plus open loft with Queen bed. The cabin has one bathroom opposite the downstairs bedroom. Great outdoor living with two decks; front deck facing the waterfront. Use stairs to access the beach and boat house which houses two single kayaks, one double kayak, life jackets, and beach chairs for guest use. One exterior security camera, which monitors the driveway is present.

We use CDC guidelines as close as possible & leave 48+ hours between guests for your/our safety. Enjoy our secluded park like setting, comfy bed, sauna, homemade bread/jam, huge cedar trees, sitting areas, golf chipping, horseshoes (seasonal). Close to SEA via ferry ride from Bainbridge Is. (30 min. drive) or 10 min. to Kingston ferries (walk-on or car). Near beach, golf (White Horse GC) & miles of hiking/biking trails, close to shopping & restaurants. Good for couples/singles. Once tucked back into the woods, this newly improved 1920s cabin now enjoys a front-row seat to the grandeur of the Hood Canal thanks to a tidal creek that has washed away the sandy soil that once supported the departed trees. Built in 2007, it's an authentic log cabin, custom designed out of Alaskan Yellow Cedar. Enjoy the rustic-yet-elegant vibe, radiant heated floors, cozy loft bed, outdoor bbq and private location. Located 10 min. west of La Conner, guests can browse shops, adventure on unique hikes, or enjoy a relaxing beach stroll.
