Staying at Hugo House was just what we needed for our family of five. Check-in was incredibly easy and Steven responsive and helpful. You feel right at home once you enter. The kitchen is fully equipped which made it easy to prepare family dinners. we could do a BBQ in the quiet, private garden and the kids enjoyed the pool, especially when it got nice and warm from the sun. Once a week Veronica would come and clean the place, super helpful especially with kids. The house itself is perfectly located, we could take morning strolls to the Woolworths Food nearby, or to Checkers at The Woods Shopping center. There is a lovely play area for young ones at the center while our older ones joined coding lessons. It was so convenient that it was just 2 min up the road. Hyde Park Shopping Center is also just a minute away. It just seemed like everything is really close, it is a lovely location. The compound itself gives you that feeling of security which you want. If you're looking for a getaway in the city, you're looking at the right place. Easily accessible in Johannesburg and close to amenities and activities but in a location that is private and beautiful. You'll feel like you're out of the city, while being in it. The place is beautiful and matches the pictures. We thoroughly enjoyed my friend's bachelorette weekend.

This was our second stay at Jacquie's place. The townhouse's location is ideal if you like privacy and peace. Inside everything is neat, and everything you need is there, including coffee maker and air fryer. The air-conditioner is sufficient to cool the whole unit and an evaporative cooler is available when needed. Everything was in place and easy to find. There were clear instructions to use everything, including the generator. I would definitely recommend it, even for longer stays. Thanks again Jacquie for making everything so easy and comfortable.

An absolutely wonderful weekend at Martens place. Marten was a great host and very responsive. Brave is an absolute star, he made sure we felt right at home and was very helpful. Martens home is really beautiful and exceeds the pictures. The back yard is stunning and so peaceful. It was a cold weekend but we managed to swim abit and loved it. I wish we could have stayed longer, however we already planning to visit again soon. I honestly can't find any faults. Definitely a 10 out of 10.

Probably the best Airbnb I’ve been to so far. The host went above and beyond to make sure that the place is enjoyable. She had board games, bottled water, wine, and she welcomed us with candy on the beds. The house is beautiful and has plenty of space outdoors. My friends and I enjoyed it there so much. The only unfortunate mishap was that the host accused us of stealing the remote before looking for it on the couch, which she later found. That was disappointing, but other than that, 10/10 accommodation.

The house was extremely well equipped - all amenities were modern, plenty of everything, comfortable beds, spacious rooms. The host was extremely communicative and responsive, and staff were in the background to do things we needed. Highly recommended.

The place was so neat and beautiful, it was home away from home. I wished to extend my stay while i was there. The host was also helpful and proactive. Never struggled to get anything i wanted.

The apartment was clean and functional with a great view! Paul was a great host who communicated very efficiently!

We arrived in the dark, but check in was easy. Stairs to the unit well lit but when you open the door, the first impression is..wow! Extremely spacious, very well equipped with so much well thought through attention to detail. But then we opened the veranda doors, exactly like the pictures on the web, then peace, tranquility and a gorgeous view takes control of you. Plenty firewood for campfire, of course after the braai. The rest of the unit stunning, even the small outside second bedroom. All and all, we had a great stay, for good value for money. Will definitely go back to the Hidden Gem! Thank you.

Charlie and Wilfred are amazing hosts. it's my third time booking staff at their accommodation. Staff love staying there as it's beautiful, convenient and very clean. This time around I completely missed making a booking and was surprised to see the employee from Bloem at the office. As soon as I realised my error I contacted Charlie and thankfully they were able to assist me with accommodation. They really do go all out for good service!!

We had a peaceful and enjoyable stay at this property. The space was perfect for our large group, with plenty of room for everyone to feel comfortable. The pictures on Airbnb accurately represent the property, so there were no surprises upon arrival. Daphne was very accessible and communicated clearly throughout the booking and stay. While accessing the location was a bit challenging, co-host Beezy was incredibly helpful and patient. Beezy made sure we had clear directions and kept us at ease throughout the process, which we greatly appreciated. Overall, it was a great experience, and we would recommend this place for anyone looking for a spacious, rustic experience and serene getaway!

The place exceeded our expectations, everything about it was great. From the views, to the interior. And Monica was such a great host, will definitely be back again for a longer stay this time around 😊😊
