A casa é maravilhosa, a vista maravilhosa , a piscina , passeio de barco. O silêncio para descansar e a gentileza das pessoas desse paraíso foi demais. Muito obrigada por esses dias de repouso maravilhoso nesse pedaço do paraíso. Espero voltar !

We hebben met ons gezin genoten van ons verblijf in de accommodatie van Carla. De accommodatie en de omgeving zijn prachtig. Ook de overdekte buitenkeuken en bbq bij de accommodatie is mooi en gezellig. Het zwembad is ook aangenaam om even bij te chillen. Verder, hebben we mooie wandelingen gemaakt rond de Sousa rivier. Ook hebben we een Guimareas bezocht en naar de Arouca hangbrug en trappenpad bij de Paiva rivier geweest. Erg mooi!

Alessandro and his partner were very friendly! He helped us with getting started on the surf boards and was always happy to help. The house is located right next to the beach and the ocean and is ideal to start surfing. We were able to use the bbq facilities loads and the veranda is very nice in case the weather is bad!

La estancia ha sido excelente. Esta totalmente nuevo, muy sencillo y práctico. La limpieza impecable. Y la ubicación no podía ser mejor, en pleno centro, todo estaba cerca caminando. Fue muy fácil llegar desde el aeropuerto, no tuve que tomar ningun taxi en toda la estancia. Lleno de restaurantes y tiendas alrededor, a pocos minutos del rio. La comunicación con los anfitriones ha sido excelente también, han estado pendientes de mi estancia en todo momento. Además de total disponibilidad. Es totalmente recomendable por todo los aspectos. Gracias por una experiencia tan positiva

A very quiet, rustic and rural setting. Sooooooo peaceful. Fantastic place to escape the city, get some rest and reconnect with nature. The outdoor, wood-heated bath was great, although it did seem a little decadent for just one person. Ideal for a couple. There is a river and Diogo (who is very friendly and very helpful) said he has a canoe. Although it was still quite cool in the mornings (early April), there is a wood-burner and an AC unit that also heats. The driveway is do-able but more for adventurous drivers. The village (Macieira da Maia) is very authentic and it is only about 10-15 min to the beach. Vila do Conde has a beautiful old-town. Many great beaches along the coast. Braga is only about 40 min, Oporto, about 20-30 min by car.

This villa exceeded our expectations, and was well appointed to accommodate our needs. We were two families totally 4 adults and 4 kids, and the size was perfect. Outdoor amenities were great, including pool, bathhouse, picnic and barbecue area. The property was very private, and there was a Marina Bar next door that has great food (the burger is one of the best I've had). The only two downsides, which didn't impact my rating was that the wifi didn't work well (I had my own hotspot, and you might want to disconnect) and the beds are firm (seems common in Portugal, because we had a very similar experience at another place). We were looking for a place that was central to northern Portugal, and this worked out great (less then 30 mins to Porto). Being right on the Duro river was very relaxing. We were also able to experience folk dancing (rancho) next door at the marina one night, which was a great cultural experience.

Het is prachtig bij Diogo! Zeker de moeite waard als je een aangename, rustige vakantie wil. Super mooie omgeving waar je tot rust kan komen. Diogo is ook super lief! Als er een probleem is, helpt hij je direct. Als je een bericht stuurt, antwoordt hij direct. Hij is zelfs met ons naar de winkel gereden:)) Diogo is een man die we nooit zullen vergeten, ik kom zeker nog eens terug naar hier! Hij hecht veel belang aan zijn bezoekers en dit merk je ook. Ook de prijs was deze vakantie zeker waard. Ook een mooi uitzicht bij het zwembad! Super hard bedankt Diogo!!! We zullen je missen!

The house is very nice, all the needed amenities are there and the area is super beautiful. Unfortunately we couldn’t use the pool as it was raining a lot but it looked great too. Vitor is a very friendly host. We definitely get back to the house again :)
