The surf studio was perfect for our quick long weekend trip! We didn’t rent a car just took the bikes Kai provides and rode them to restaurants, stores and to the boardwalk. The studio is in a nice and quiet neighborhood but close to lots of things to do. Kai was a great host, always responsive and provided many recommendations!

I stayed for 4 nights with my adult son as we visited family in the area. The place was wonderful for our stay. Mission Bay was just a short walk away, and many restaurants and cafe's were within a 10-15 min walk. Kai and Bev were gracious hosts. We had wet clothing from a beach excursion and put them outside to dry. Much to our surprise, it was cloudy and rainy so the clothing didn't dry. Kai washed and dried the clothing on our behalf - what a nice guy! I appreciated getting to use a cruiser bike to pedal around Mission Bay and the folding chairs for our beach trip. The bed was very comfortable, as was the futon in the living room. I'd note that I'm 5'3" and I was able to sleep on the futon easily, but my son is 5'10" and he was cramped when he tried to sleep on the futon.

This was a very pleasant place to stay for a weekend getaway to San Diego. Parking was safe and easy, simple electronic access to the unit, and the location offered many walking options for coffee and meals. The u it is centrally located for easy access all over town.

Kai's place is a stone's throw away from absolutely beautiful parks along the shore, and includes bikes/ body boards for use. Absolutely loved the location, convenience, and also Kai's responsiveness!

This condo was in a good location - near the beach and by several shops and restaurants. It was clean and well stocked!

Great value for the price! The host was extremely responsive and helpful, and allowed us to check in early. I love that the unit is upstairs with no neighbors above, and the bed was very comfortable (memory foam). The neighborhood was so quiet and peaceful, and having the beach cruiser bikes was a plus since we didn't rent a car for our stay. We could bike to the beach in 15 minutes, or walk to the bay in 5 minutes. Overall, an excellent stay.

This Airbnb was perfect for our family gathering. Great location near the beach, comfortable and spacious apartment with a lovely patio. Modern décor and well-maintained landscaping. Easy parking. Spacious bedrooms, especially the master, and comfortable beds. Well-equipped kitchen and in-unit laundry. We especially appreciated Marianna's help with a cooking pot and Netflix access. Check-in was a little tricky with the keypad, and the living room could use more lighting. We were grateful to host a family gathering during a difficult time. Highly recommend for families up to 6! (I did have a longer review but I couldn't fit under 1000 characters, so I sent directly to Management to review our full feedback..in a good way. =) )

Great location! Walkable to the beach and restaurants. Huge plus to have a parking spot too. We were able to fit our larger SUV in as long as passengers/luggage was unloaded first. All rooms have skylights so keep that in mind if you like to sleep in.

Carl and Vicki's house was amazing! There are 3 bedrooms on the main level (1 master with bath, one bedroom with jack and jill bathroom, and 1 bedroom with bunks). The kitchen/dining/great rooms were great to hang out in as a group. The lower level had its own bedroom with a bath, and the playroom had a futon to sleep on and an air mattress. It was super clean and homey. There were recommendations for things to do in a binder. The hosts were very communicative. The views are spectacular. If you are walking (as we did), note that it's on top of a steep hill, so you will get bonus exercise! This also is part of the reason for the great views. If you don't like walking, there are ubers, too! I was on a girls trip, and it was nice to have separate rooms for all. If I were traveling with my family, this house would also be ideal.

Boutique stays for my bachelorette party was absolutely perfect!! The location was amazing. Walking distance to coffee and shops/beach. We loved walking to Better Buzz coffee each morning for breakfast & coffee. The house was a great size for 14 girls and bathroom space was great! We ran into an issue at check in with the incorrect door code but they were very responsive and quick to resolve the issue!! We absolutely loved our stay here and could not recommend it more!

Our August stay in San Diego was truly unforgettable, thanks in large part to our fantastic Airbnb host. From the moment we booked, they were incredibly responsive and helpful. When a small issue arose early in our stay, they were quick to address it, demonstrating their commitment to guest satisfaction. The house itself was a gem, beautifully maintained and in a prime location. We loved exploring the neighborhood and being within easy reach of all the city’s attractions. We can’t thank our host enough for making our trip so enjoyable. We would definitely stay here again!

Great house and hosts. Nicole was very responsive to questions or needs. My boys loved the hot tub and the movie theater with popcorn buckets. Would stay here again.

Our stay was amazing! Anita was very responsive to our questions and needs. The house was less than half an hour from all our destinations for our family trip. It was also a great house to wind down as a family after the days activities.

I enjoyed my stay. The place was very clean, had strong wifi and had everything I needed. You can hear the music from Las Pulgas so you might want to bring ear plugs if you’re a light sleeper.

Beautiful place to stay at nice and clean!

This was a great little staycation for our family. The location is amazing, easy walk to the beach and the big pool was so much fun. The property felt like a resort with the beautiful landscaping and welcoming check-in process. The host had beach chairs, a boogie board, beach umbrella and plenty of towels for our family of five to use. Beds were comfortable and the kitchen was fully stocked with every appliance and utensils to cook meals there. My kids enjoyed the library of DVDs to watch while we were relaxing inside. I enjoyed having coffee out on the balcony watching the sunset. It was an easy half mile walk down the boardwalk to the pier. Lots of restaurants and things to do close by, which we were already familiar with since we are from San Diego County, but the host had a lot of information ready for us if needed to guide us around. The condo was so clean and well maintained. We would love to come back for another beach week in the summer.

I have traveled extensively around the world, staying in various locations. Despite the common perception of border towns being unsafe, I must say that this particular place is exceptional. With full-time security, utmost privacy, and a beautiful location, it is truly a safe haven. What stood out to me was the owner's exceptional service - holding onto items I left behind and ensuring their safekeeping until my next visit. This level of care and thoughtfulness is truly unique. Without a doubt, this is the ideal accommodation for anyone visiting Tijuana.

Craig’s property was perfect. Very clean and aesthetically pleasing. The bunk beds were perfect for my kids. Everything was clean and convenient. The property is easy to walk to bars, restaurants and the beach. We went to LEGOLAND and it was only a 10 min drive. We would stay here again! Highly recommend!

We really enjoyed our stay! We had a great time utilizing the pool and loved being so close to the ocean! The condo was clean and had plenty of space for our family. My husband and I loved enjoying our coffee while watching and hearing the ocean waves from the balcony. Everyone in my family wants to come back! Definitely recommend!

This was a perfect "find" for me. Nice room with full private bath and plenty of hot water in the shower. Access to a fully equipped kitchen with storage for my own groceries. The location allowed me a short walk to Zona Rio for my medical appointments. Franco was a wonderful host who met me upon arrival and oriented me around the property. Franco lives with a small dog named Nala who is very friendly. She spends most of her time out-of-doors, never in the guestroom. I will definitely return!
