Like myself, I'm sure many people book this for the history and legacy of Yogi Berra and the New York Yankees but the hosts, Mary and Jay are equally important. They are the most wonderful, down-to-earth people. Mary is Yogi's niece so hearing stories about Uncle Yogi was amazing! The house is immaculate and welcoming with Yogi memorabilia. Mary and Jay drove us around the neighborhood on their golf cart to see where Yogi played ball and the wonderful neighborhood called The Hill. As we drove around, folks in their front yards waved hello to Mary. It was a step back in time where neighbors all know and look out for each other. It is a wonderful area with Italian bakeries and restaurants, all within walking distance of the house. Breakfast was ready for us in the mornings (Jay makes a mean breakfast). Even if you're not a Yogi and Yankees fan, you should consider staying here because of the location and the wonderful hosts.

We only stayed one night, but this was an amazing find. We were nothing but thrilled with our stay, the place is exactly as described and has such a nice layout. If we need to stay in St. Louis in the future, we will definitely consider seeing if one of the rooms at this BnB are available.

A beautiful location with super comfy bed and roomy shower. The host was very friendly and the breakfast was yummy. The only issue was the noisy upstairs floors.

Had a wonderful stay. Great place for a relaxing weekend. Close to some very scenic hiking spots with some trails on propery. The place is absolutely beautiful and well taken care of with abundant wildlife in the area. Karon and her husband are very kind and respond quickly to any questions or concerns. The room was spacious and very clean with all the comforts of home. They though of all the little extras to make your stay the best it can be. I definitely recomend staying here. The fresh baked bread was such a special treat. We loved it here. Great venue to have your wedding, birthday or any special occasion too.

Peaceful stop on a cross country trip for work. We were able to park our 16 foot box truck across from the barn. Martha was proactive in giving directions to get inside, as we were arriving later than initially planned. She had breakfast in the refrigerator for us, and even accomadated my vegan coworker. We were unfortunately unable to meet her, but did meet her son, daughter in law and husband. They were great and her husband showed us around the farm, and we got to see the baby cows. They were the cutest. She also has a dog named Max who greeter me in the morning with a toy. The airbnb is very private and quiet. Would definitely recommend.

Amazing! The hosts were so sweet, the bed was so comfortable, and the breakfast was so good ! Fresh from the garden!!!

TL;DR: we had a great stay, even if we brought the rain with us. We booked Larry’s pink room for a quick mother-daughter weekend adventure, and it was the perfect fit for us. Strong marks for convenience, price, and comfort (just make sure you can parallel park, that’s 90% of your options in STL). The pink room has a lovely firm mattress (Queen) and good closet space. There’s a small couch by the window which was great for reading when we needed a break from exploring the city. Larry keeps a small fridge in the room with some complementary beverages, plus a triple USB port for easy charging of your devices. Lots of windows if you’re luckier than we were and actually see the sun on your visit. The pink room uses a shared bathroom, which was perfectly fine for us. Larry had lots of great suggestions for local activities/food, and breakfast helped us fuel up for our day! Day one was a full English style breakfast, day two was a lovely veggie frittata and waffles! Would stay again!

From the beautiful garden to the little candies and recommendations around the suite, it's clear they take pride in hosting. I very much enjoyed my time here!

Vicky was an amazing host. She communicated with us very well and always made sure that we were comfortable. She answered all of the questions we had about staying there as well. Our room was very clean when we arrived and we enjoyed staying in it. She does include breakfast and it was delicious. She offered us eggs, fruit, yogurt, muffins, coffee, tea, etc. Overall it was a really great stay and if we come back to the area we will definitely be staying there again!

I needed some quiet time for reflection. Teri's rental was absolutely perfect. Everything I needed was within walking distance and the privacy and coziness were exceptional . I have already talked with two travelling groups about plans to return.

“Rooms on Cherry” is a popular spot, so glad we were able to snag a weekend during Kappa Sig Moms Weekend! The four bedrooms and common area was perfect for us five moms. Several coffee shops, restaurants and night life attractions were close by so we walked everywhere. Linda has each room decorated beautifully and everything was clean. She had purified water, coffee pods to get us started, tea, half/half, muffins, bagels and cream cheese. Great time, great place!

I had an absolutely wonderful experience, and Lane was an exceptional host. The homemade breakfast was incredible. Biscuits and gravy, along with a delicious omelet on a pastry base cooked in cast iron, was a real treat. The house itself is like a dream, filled with vibrant colors, Midwest warmth, and a touch of luxury. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay!

Great cozy spot to rest while biking the Kathy Trail. The boxcar was perfect for our group, and was the perfect, cozy rest that we needed after a long day. We got to meet some of the community as well, and they were all kind and gracious. Overall, 10/10 experience for every one of us!

We enjoyed our stay at Old Vine Bed &Breakfast! Location was great, well within walking distance to shops and restaurants. Great hosts! Went above and beyond to make us feel welcome!

Michelle’s place is very convenient to local amenities and peaceful with everything I need inside. Thanks for being an excellent host and for sharing your home. Will be back for two more months of stay.

The house is beautiful and well kept up. the upstairs playroom was a lifesaver on a rainy weekend. Gary and Laura suggested fun things to do with our daughter in KC, and made us feel welcome. we would love to come back! oh, and breakfasts were delicious, and they tailored the food offered for our toddler.

We so enjoyed Denise and David, as they were extremely friendly and helpful. They made us feel like family, we shared some great stories of our individual travels, and we had a lot of laughs. The room was clean and comfortable, and her biscuits and gravy were awesome!!! We would recommend staying with them to anyone.

Our stay was great! We were only able to be there for a short while but they were very hospitable and the entire place was very cute and cozy. We also LOVED, Leo, the little orange cat with no tail <3

We LOVED our stay here. We rented two rooms (Phares & Davidson) for a long weekend. This home is absolutely beautiful! Alyssa has done a fantastic job of keeping the victorian-era feel but also having it feel fresh, updated, and comfortable. All of the common areas felt very inviting and usable. Our bedrooms felt cozy and relaxing. The beds are extremely comfortable and all linens and towels were bright, fresh, and soft! Rooms had tvs, as well. Small things we appreciated were a coffee station and small fridge upstairs stocked with waters. Also, liked having labeled space in main fridge for some of our personal items. It has a very nice front porch and back deck, as well. This home is just 1-2 blocks from the Old Town Cape area with lots of shops, restaurants, and the riverfront. Our host, Alyssa, was very warm, inviting, and friendly. She was always available- but not intrusive, and always ready to give info about the house, Cape area, etc. We will DEFINITELY be back!

We loved Karbelle mansion because it was private and peaceful. The property is well maintained and cared for, and clean. After a long day on the road we found the hot tub and relaxed under the Missouri stars. It was within walking distance to town - one mile to the heart of downtown. Lots of wonderful antique stores, local history, and restaurants (the pie shop)! We will be back.

The stay was amazing. The breakfast was superb. We would recommend this stay to ALL!

We absolutely loved our stay at the cottage room. There was so much space and the beds were very comfortable. I will be booking here again next year when my jeep group does our annual fall colors run in Eminence.
