Simon was extremely helpful as soon as we booked. He provided very concise directions and communicated with us well. He was helpful with flexible check-in too. Simon welcomed us on arrival but had provided us with all the information we needed for the key safe should he not be in. The flat was lovely, very spacious, comfy and well equipped. Simon's home is situated in a very beautiful area, close to Holmfirth with its many bars, vibrant night life, eateries and shops and also the surrounding countryside too.

A truly beautiful location and a lovely cottage. We had a great week and wished we could have stayed longer. Jane was on hand with lots of local information and made us feel very much at home.

This is a wonderful place to stay, surrounded by fields with sheep, horses and even two llamas! It's easy to get into central Leeds by car or by bus from the farm. The cottage is well equipped and clean and Nicky replies promptly if there are any issues. We took our dog and she had a great time in the neighbouring woods and river. Would love to return to the cottage sometime in the future!

Great setting close to trough of bowland. Lovely to sit outside and watch the lambs while we ate our breakfast in the sun. Comfortable spacious accommodation and Ann was quick to respond to any questions / requests.

Really nice peaceful quiet place to stay, Very comfortable house with all you need for a relaxing stay. Walking distance to shops bars bistros and local attractions. Loads to do in the local area and little further afield. Really clean and comfortable place to stay really cosy with great views from the private decking area at the rear. Off road parking too. I would recommend to anyone or a group visiting the area to stay here. Lorraine was really nice great communication and really accommodating.

Had a great visit! Very fortunate for John to be understanding and allow us to film our final student short film. John was always very quick to answer any questions, he was very understanding of filming which is always appreciated. The location was beautiful with some lovely surrounding scenery. Perfect for a peaceful getaway.

Stayed here during early May and it was absolutely lovely! Wonderful views in every direction and more local walks than you can possibly do in a weekend! Simon was also lovely and happily offered to get the bbq out if requested. If you enjoy nice walks and great scenery this place is a no brainer + the old farmhouse aesthetic of the building is beautiful, cannot recommend enough!

We had a truly wonderful stay at Richard’s barn! The place is located in a beautiful area – perfect for sightseeing and long hikes in nature. The barn itself is cozy and very well equipped with everything you might need to relax and enjoy your time. The indoor fireplace adds a lovely atmosphere, and the hot tub is a fantastic bonus after a day of exploring. The location is ideal – peaceful and quiet, yet close to many great trails and local attractions. Richard is an absolutely lovely host – super friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help. I can wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway in nature with all the comforts. We’ll definitely be coming back! Zaneta and friends plus dog

We had the most amazing experience here! We visited for our mini-moon immediately after our wedding and we wanted to unwind. It was really the perfect place. We noted when we booked that we were visiting for our mini-moon and the host had put out very thoughtful and fun decorations which we loved. Overall a completely stunning location and property, blessed to be surrounded by so many lovely animals. My husband got to use the excellent wood fired pizza oven and we enjoyed the hot tub too. Just totally perfect and would wholeheartedly recommend to someone who wants a really luxury experience with the benefit of beautiful views and feeling close to nature.

Lovely property in an absolutely beautiful location. Owners were friendly and helpful, and made a fantastic pub recommendation! Seeing all the farm animals was also great. This was exactly the peaceful getaway that we needed, and we certainly hope to come again.

Stayed at the toll house for my boyfriends birthday it was such a beautiful place and surroundings. Loved having so much wildlife at the window. The property itself was absolutely gorgeous and so cosy. Laura is has been a lovely host will greag instructions/information will definitely be returning 😊

Wow, what a place! 10/10 for everything! The location was amazing, beautiful views and the only neighbours were the cute sheep! A perfect place to escape, switch off and enjoy nature. The hut had everything you needed and was in the best location for walks. Would recommend to anyone! Can’t wait to come back. Catherine was a lovely host and made everything perfect for us. Such a wonderful stay! This cottage was neat and spacious, as was the garden out back. The hot tub was clean and well-maintained, felt great, and was easy to operate. Town is just a short walk through some really nice and scenic fields, with a Booths supermarket, a number of tempting restaurants, fun little shops, and interesting history all within easy reach. Really relaxing, quiet, and comfortable.

We’ve had an amazing Easter weekend at Hartleys Huts. Very calm, literally in the middle of nowhere. Loved the hot tub and the views! We had everything we needed. Would definitely come again, but probably not in the summer as the hut gets very warm in the sun! :)

My partner and I had a fantastic couple of days away here. The weather was perfect, so made the getaway even better. The views from the hut were breathtaking. Nic was very responsive on any queries we had. I would definitely suggest this place to anyone who wants a getaway for a few days. We already miss our trip!

We needed somewhere to stay within 5 miles of Bingley to visit family. Curlew cottage was just right and a cosy retreat. Really comfortable night's sleep. Louise is a helpful host especially when our arrival was delayed due to M1/62 roadworks! On our wishlist for future trips! Thank you

We had an amazing stay at barn elm lodge! The house was massive and easily accommodated the 10 of us with so much space and the grounds were absolutely beautiful. Host very responsive and friendly

We loved it!! Pristine, comfortable and super cozy. We wanted for nothing, we enjoyed chilling before the fire. Pauline was so nice and helped us find our way round. 100% book again.

From the start of our trip, Julian was there to meet us and greet us. He was extremely friendly and helpful. If we had anything to ask, he was very responsive. He would always have time for a quick chat and provided helpful recommendations of the local area. Julian’s place was gorgeous, beautiful views and privacy was well kept. We enjoyed our stay thoroughly and always were greeted by the (I think) roosters in the back garden ahhaha. Thanks so much for the peaceful stay!

Gatehouse Cottage is a lovely 'home from home' find that exceeded our expectations. On arrival we were introduced to the owners, Lesley and Graham who assured us of their support should we need it. There was a lovely welcome pack with essentials: milk, tea,coffee, butter, breakfast cerials & eggs, as well as lovely extras: Croissants, home made cake, jam and marmalade👍. The cottage is spacious and airy with lovely views of the garden. There is a very sunny patio with easy access from the french doors. The cottage is excellent for anyone with mobility issues. Everything is clean and well maintained. We booked Gatehouse Cottage as it was close to The Venue where we were attending a family wedding. You can walk to The Venue within 15 minutes or book a taxi costing £3.50. (Elland Taxi). We had family staying close by and Lesley was very accomodating when they visited us - including their dog. Excellent find and can highly recommend.

Beautiful lodge overlooking Pendle Valley, lovely furnishings, bedding, towels. Everything you could think of was available. The view was stunning & loved the outside area, fully enclosed which was great for our 2 dogs & plenty of outdoor seating & table to use. The site was quiet & peaceful and plenty to explore. The perfect Easter break.

A fantastic experience from start to finish. The cottage is set in a beautiful rural setting with lots of great walks accessible without having to drive anywhere. There is a great local pub a 5 minute walk along the lane and plenty more a short hike away. Jim and Diane were the perfect hosts - respecting your privacy whilst always being available to answer any questions. The property was wonderful and perfectly set up for my elderly mother who has mobility issues - extremely comfortable with fantastic views of the surrounding fields and hills. We will definitely make a return visit in the future and thoroughly recommend this property for a relaxing holiday. Many thanks for a wonderful Easter break.
