The owners have 2 cocker spaniels so dont mind clients bringing one well behaved pet on holiday too. Basic Breakfast supplies will be provided too.

There are excellent links from the train station to Manchester airport, Leeds, York and London via Wakefield. Bus stops are close by (for Huddersfield and Bradford) and there is easy access to the M62 (approximately 2 miles away). Taxis are available from Huddersfield train station.

The ground floor flat, part of our family home in a Victorian end terrace is in a village two miles from Huddersfield. It offers a garden facing living/bedroom, separate kitchen and shower room. Situated half a mile from the Trans Pennine Trail, 2 miles from Penistone town centre, and 7 miles from Holmfirth ("Last of the Summer Wine" country), we are the ideal base for exploring the beautiful countryside. We are also conveniently located for the M1 (6 miles) and just 4 miles away from the A628 Woodhead Pass to Manchester.

Ridings Cottage is attached to the owners historic, victorian home with connections to the Bronte sisters. It is self contained with one spacious bedroom which has a very comfortable double bed and a pull out sofa bed. We are close to Dewsbury Hospital with easy access to Leeds, Huddersfield and Wakefield. M1 and M62 motorway links. We have made the cottage as comfortable as possible to ensure you enjoy your stay.

We would like to welcome you to Calf Hey Cottage. We are situated off the main road set in a quite Hamlet in Denshaw, along side three other Cottages. We have a self contained newly refurbished open plan guest suite with separate entrance. The interior consists of a Kitchen, Bedroom, Lounge & Bathroom area, it has electric heating in the bathroom & a Multi Fuel Burning Stove.

Private annex with independent access and private bathroom (no kitchen). Great location, in the lovely village of Thurstonland. Ideally situated for exploring the local trails on foot or bike, which give fantastic, far reaching views towards the Peak District and across the Pennines. Good food and hospitality are available at the village pub which is a two minute walk away.
