난바역까지 거리가 있지만 사쿠라가와역까지도보로 10분이내 가서 전철 타면 15분이내 갈수있고 교통이 불편하지만 그만큼 저렴한숙소라 가성비가 좋은것 같습니다 기본적으로 침실이 2개이고 거실이랑 주방도 깨끗해서 만족스럽게 놀다갑니다. 침실은 계단을 타야하는데 경사가 높아 아이들이나 어르신을 모시기에는 조금 힘들수있어요 그래도 기본적으로 편의시설도 잘갖춰져있고 해서 편하게 잘놀다 왔습니다.

Excellent séjour dans la maison de Hershey, très bien situé avec un supermarché vraiment à deux pas ce qui est très pratique. N'hésitez pas à vous relaxer dans la belle baignoire après une journée bien remplie à la decouverte de la ville.

Great Machiya stay with a traditional feel, but with modern amenities such as heated floor! Also perfect location to explore Kyoto. Tokuji san was always very responsive during communications. Overall, highly recommended!

Lovely one bedroom flat located on a quiet one-way street in a residential neighborhood, but within walking distance of some great restaurants (including one that serves great okonomiyaki for a reasonable price). ~5 minutes' walk from Tsurugaoka station (JR Hanwa Line) & ~10+ minutes' walk from Nishitanabe metro station. Very kind and helpful host. Squeaky clean and well-appointed flat with all the amenities that one would need, including a few large umbrellas and a washer (no dryer). Fast reliable WiFi. Effective combined heating and air con unit. Like many homes and hotels in Japan (I suspect), space is a premium, so the toilet and shower are not designed for sumo wrestlers. As is typical of Japanese homes and hotels, the toilet seat includes a bidet, but there is no wash basin in the toilet. Though it is on a side road, one can hear vehicles passing by occasionally during the day. Calligraphy school upstairs, so quiet at night. Highly recommended. Will consider staying again.

We loved our stay at Sachi’s house so much that we didn’t want to leave. It is even more beautiful than the Airbnb photos - we were so pleasantly surprised. It was lovely to sleep on the comfortable futon and to sit in the tatami room. The townhouse was well equipped with kitchen and laundry facilities and the bathroom was spacious. The whole house was spotlessly clean and the area so peaceful and pretty. Our children loved the goldfish! Thank you for having us, we would love to return again another time.

We really enjoyed our stay. Our host provided personal detailed instructions and was always available to help. The place was clean and well equiped. We loved the bikes and we're able to visit some of our tour spots with them. The traditional Japanese accommodation was an adventure for us and we liked being in a more local neighborhood setting versus downtown. Thanks to our hosts.

This is an original machiya and full of character. We particularly enjoyed the small garden in the back and the outdoor (but covered and private) walkway to the bath. The location is excellent on a nice quiet street in Kita ward, close to public transportation. Many attractions and very good supermarkets are in easy walking distance. The neighborhood has many nice wooden houses and it is a pleasure to just go for a walk. This part of Kyoto is not overrun by tourists either and we had a very pleasant time. The host, Koichi-san, is a Kyoto native whose family has a long history in the city and he is very happy to share his deep knowledge of the city with guests. Overall an excellent choice for staying in Kyoto -- highly recommended.

The location is at heart of Kanazawa city, surrounded by department stores , book shops, Igazaya and fish market, give us the true taste of what life would be at Kanazawa. Few minutes walk to reach JR station, Kenrokuen, Kanazawa castle and many other museums, allows us to explore the glorious history of Kanazawa and hard work of Kanazawa art and craftsmanship. After all these, back to Y and K’s house, the design is so chic and simplistic with little touch of Japanese zen, everything is so calm and comfortable, perfect ending place for resting after the Kanazawa adventure and get ready for another next day.

I stayed at this place with a friend for two nights and was really impressed. The Machiya is well kept and in a good location. If I return to Kanazawa, I would be happy to stay here again.

Dom Keirei jest fantastyczny. Bardzo wygodny dla rodziny - miejsce do wspólnego spędzenia czasu, dwie oddzielne sypialnie z wygodnym łóżkiem i futonami, dwie oddzielne łazienki i dwie toalety. Wspaniały klimat w japońskim stylu. Zaskoczyła nas ilość wyposażenia i udogodnień w kuchni i łazience. Świetna lokalizacja, bardzo cicho i spokojnie a za rogiem uliczki przystanki autobusowe i spacerem do metra, blisko restauracje i sklepy. Gospodarze wspaniali, bardzo mili i dostępni na każde zapytanie. Wróciłabym ponownie bez zastanowienia. Bardzo dziękujemy!

It was a great stay in Kyoto and my wife wishes to come back to the same house in the future! Most of the hotel rooms in Japan are small, which is very inconvenient for family. My son is 16, but he is taller than me already. We always want to find spacious place to fit us in. Airbnb became the first choice for our family trip. The place is exactly as described, clean and convenient. The stairs to the 2nd floor is a bit steep, but you will get used to it after several up and down trip. The neighborhood is very quiet. Walkable distance to Kyoto Station, Watson, and 7-Eleven. The only drawback might be the location, which is close to Kyoto Station but a bit far from the city center of attractions. We took taxi very day, and everything is within 15-20mins drive.

Exactly what we needed after the last few weeks in hotels. It made us feel like we were locals for that moment. Everything is 10mins walk away and you’re close to the river for those sunrise/ sunset walks.

we had a great stay, we felt comfortable, we slept well. it was nice to stay in and experience japanese traditional living space. bed was comfortable, heater and heated floor rug kept us warm during the colder weather. space was nice and plenty for the 5 of us. locationwise was great since it was just 2-3 minutes walk to the train station and less than 10 minutes walk to Fushimi Inari shrine entrance. Sorrounding neighborhood was so peaceful. we loved it!

J’ai passé un merveilleux séjour dans cet appartement traditionnel, qui m’a permis de saisir quelque chose de l’essence même de la sensibilité japonaise — dans son rapport à l’espace, à l’harmonie et à l’esthétique. Minimaliste et raffiné, le lieu dégage une grande sérénité. Je ne me lassais pas d’observer les détails de l’agencement, des décorations, des objets choisis avec soin. L’hôte a également fait preuve d’une grande hospitalité et d’une attention discrète mais précieuse tout au long du séjour. Le quartier est un peu excentré, mais très bien desservi par les transports.

I highly recommend Leo’s home. It’s located in an awesome neighborhood very close to Umeda. Despite its proximity to Osaka station the neighborhood is quiet and had a ton of cute shops and restaurants. The home was clean, spacious and perfect for our family of four. I highly recommend Leo’s home.

Beautiful architecture, home, and space. Very private and great for a large group. It was very quiet and peaceful for being so close to the city bustle. Endless options for food and drink around! The heated toilet seat and automated lid-opening and flushing felt extra luxurious. We loved our stay!

Our family of 6 had a great stay! We love that a high chair was available along with a few toys for our toddler. The location was very convenient, plenty of restaurants, markets, and convenience stores within a 5 minute walk. The ordinary beds were comfortable, but if you plan on sleeping in the tatami mat room, make sure you are used to sleeping on a very firm futon. The stairs were also more steep than the stairs we were used to, but it wasn't an issue even for the seniors in our group. Overall, the place was extremely clean and the host was very friendly and responsive. Glad we got to stay here!

This was our favorite place we stayed in Japan. It was larger than expected inside with a dining table and two spaces for tea. The sleeping area was also spacious and relaxing with shoji screens on all the windows. The neighborhood is very quiet and private with a nice stone path inside the gate. It's a 5 minute walk to Kyomizu-dera template, and 20 minutes to Gion. Walking back at night through the side streets is especially pleasant compared to staying in a hotel downtown.

滞在中、不便なことはなく、快適に過ごせました。オーディオルーム、シアタールームもあり、楽しみにしておりましたが、外出時間が多く部屋でゆっくりする時間がなく、利用できなかったのが残念でした。寝るとき以外はほぼキッチンにおりましたが、中庭が見えたり、部屋を見渡せたりと時間を忘れるくらいにゆったり時間を過ごせました。どこの部屋もライティングにこだわりが感じられ、充実していて、自分の好みで調整でき、リラックスできたのもよかったです。

なんでも最高でした。接近性、周辺、対応、家の中の施設、水圧、清潔感。また利用したいと思います！
