Williams place was clean and tidy. The place worked well for me and my friend. The kitchen is well equipped. The place is secure and accessible. As a young student this place was nicer than a hostel. The neighborhood has a grocery store and a bar. Overall my friend and I enjoyed this place and the pool. Thank you William!

Halfway through our stay we were planning our return trip. Fantastic, simple place minutes by foot to the beach. It's in a great little neighborhood with incredibly friendly people, good food, surfing rentals and instruction, and a fantastic beach. I have to say the food is a bit expensive but that is the only small gripe I would have. If you are frugal like we are stop at a supermercado on the way there, load up, and just enjoy this wonderful town. And definitely try the banana coffee . . .

A lovely location and a super nice host. Jessica met us on arrival, chatted over making us coffee, got to know us. The house was spacious and very comfortable, a good kitchen dining area and lovely patio. We saw howler monkeys close up and toucans in the garden. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Highly recommend this place to stay in Monteverde! The host was super welcoming when we arrived and was kind throughout. The place is as described with a beautiful view overlooking the mountains which allowed for a peaceful and relaxing place to stay. To note, having a car or using taxi’s is most likely needed to stay here. There wasn’t really any restaurants or places to walk to without driving into the main township.

Such a gem in Tamarindo! We loved being surrounded by nature and having the pool. The bedrooms were spacious and the kitchen was stocked well. It can be a little hard to walk into the main town because the house is located uphill but it’s definitely doable. Jose provided us with recommendations and was very responsive. Overall I would highly recommend!

Los Pargos/Playa Negra is a remote beach, great for walking and beach combing. Sparsely populated, but very friendly surroundings and people. Take water! There is a beach-side restaurant for simple food/refreshment, but mostly it's just surfers, walkers, and folks sitting in the shade of palm trees and cooling off in the waves. There is a small grocery store and several nice places to eat along the road to the beach. A place for serenity and nature lovers, not partiers and night-life seekers. Mathieu replies quite quickly to texts and questions.

Teresita and Eli went above and beyond. We were a group of 14 and rented out all their cabanas. As you can imagine we had lots of questions. They took the time to recommend activities and even booked on our behalf. Also, all of their food recommendations were great. The cabanas were beautiful and had everything we needed.

Nous avons passé un agréable séjour. Le loft est très propre. Il est situé en retrait de la ville ce qui permet d’être au calme et à proximité de Monteverde et des différentes randonnées. La vue du logement sur la nature est magnifique! A noter que la voie d’accès au logement est une piste et qu’il est préférable d’avoir un véhicule adapté.

We had a wonderful stay at Allan’s place in Monte Verde. The location was beautiful and peaceful, perfect for relaxing and enjoying nature. The house was clean, cozy, and well-equipped with everything we needed. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a comfortable and charming getaway!

We had amazing days in Fika Haus. It is beautiful, right in the middle of the beautiful rain forests of Monteverde. The high windows make the room very spacious and you can observe the local wildlife from the comforts of your bed. There is an emerald toucanet nesting in the tree right next to the house; we saw woodpeckers, thrushes, tanagers, humming birds, chachalacas and doves right from the porch. Quite an amazing view.

Lovely place with enough jungle to feel remote, but close enough to town to walk if you wanted. AC was surprisingly quick to cool down the space considering the size of the unit vs the space. Loved the outdoor patio and direct kitchen access for breakfasts. Kitchen was nicely equipped and stocked, including vinegar, oil, salt, and pepper. There is no oven, but there is a 2 burner electric stove. Very clean space, felt very modern and welcoming. The whole property is behind a locked gate, so security is never a concern. Diego was also very helpful and friendly, giving suggestions for restaurants and hiking locations when we asked. Check-in and out require in person meeting, but he was very flexible with the timing for that, both on arrival and departure. Definitely would stay here again if I come back to the area in the future.

Absolutely beautiful place! Really clean, well designed, thoughtfully furnished, and unique. Felt like luxury for being a dome in the jungle. I will say even with the host’s instructions the hot water in the shower was maddening the first time around. Trick is to not pull the handle out far enough to where the whirling sound stops. Even then the temperature would vary a bit, but at least it was pleasant, especially with the birds and jungle right outside your window! Gated parking worked perfectly and made us feel very safe. The pathway lighting was thoughtfully done as well. Two things of mention: the view isn’t quite as impressive as the photos imply due to tree growth and camera angles, and unfortunately there’s construction going on next door from 6am-5pm. It usually didn’t bother us, but occasionally there’s loud power saws. That being said the bed was extremely comfy and the blankets were perfect for Monte Verde weather, so relaxing wasn’t too hard!

As first time Airbnbers we weren't quite sure what to expect. Our booking got off to a fantastic start with Licni and José reaching out multiple times in advance to ensure that they could provide us with excellent accommodations, which they did! The location itself immediately takes your breath away as soon as you walk in the door. Everything is impeccably clean and the room is welcoming. You are bound to see wildlife during your stay along with the breathtaking views. The kitchen is well supplied with anything you need to make a simple meal or even something a little more complex. The new pool and sitting area are a fantastic addition to the location. Licni and José were always available if we needed anything and were fun to communicate with. We truly feel like we are leaving home away from home. We absolutely would book this again!

The place is nice and well located with a lot of nice beaches nearby. The community is also secured and Douglas is very responsive. Overall, I think it’s a great place to stay for the price. However, it’s quite small for long stays, especially if it’s for duo travellers. I’ll say it’s perfect for a solo traveller or two people wanting a place to stay for a few nights.

The daily sunset at this location makes this worth every penny. Aslo the hosts Tina and Sean were of great help.

A nice oasis in quiet Pelada, with a cool dipping pool in the middle of the two cabanas to share. We were lucky that we knew the other couple in cabana 2 but they were private enough that I don’t think it would have mattered if we didn’t. Close to Sunrise coffee which is great breakfast. We bought coffee and fresh fruit from the market and made breakfast smoothies every day while there. Highly recommend renting a golf cart or ATV to get around as, while the beach and Pelada restaurants are walkable, you will want the broader range to get to Guiones or old town Nosara. Place was modern and clean.

Casita very modern, functional, clean and pleasant. We like how it looks. Bathroom very spacious. All complex well maintained. Beautiful swimming pool is a great bonus!!!!!!!!

Spent an incredible 2 weeks here and am already looking forward to going back. It’s sooo peaceful and surrounded by trees and nature and monkeys yet you can easily walk to the beach so it doesn’t feel too removed. The king sized bed was so comfy and the large shower was great. Also loved having the pool to cool off in the heat. Andie was helpful, friendly and an overall great host!

Comfortable, private and worth every penny! Close to everything in Tamarindo, within 10 minutes you’re in the mix of the best night life and restaurant they have to offer. Shoutout to our host(s) for helping us finding the location with amazing hospitality while giving us a trip we won’t forget. 10/10 would recommend this place

Mathi's place is gorgeous! If you're looking for a peaceful trip, this is your place! When you walk up the hill to get to the space, you feel a sensation of openness, surrounded by beautiful nature. When you arrive, you're greeted by beautiful views in a gorgeous, spacious, private and luminous wooden cabin that blends perfectly with the nature. I totally recommend this place to anyone that loves nature and to disconnected from the city and your routines in order to reconnect with yourself. Thanks for absolutely everything Mathi! 🙏
