MODERN & PEACEFUL PRIVATE RETREAT

Tranquil & modern studio w/ loft located 90 min fm Yosemite, w/private garden patio & EV car charging stn, in a Foothill neighborhood. We’re sorry, but we cannot accept children. The space is a clean, quiet, studio w/ kitchen, queen sized bed, futon couch, bathroom with a rain shower head, & sleeping loft. It's stocked with luxurious throws, linens, and towels. We are a LGBT family. We speak Spanish & have traveled extensively & lived internationally. We welcome you to our peaceful retreat!

Dayton Guest Suite with a View

My husband, Joe, retired in 2018 from his job of 30 yrs. I retired in Jan 2020 (right before Covid19) from owning/operating a large childcare facility for 22 yrs. We raised our 5 children in this beautiful home. We love to share our gift of hospitality when we have the opportunity. Dayton is a short drive to Carson City, Virginia City, Lake Tahoe, Reno. It is perfect for long/short term business, family, leisure trips, or anyone just looking for a comfortable place to stay between destinations.

Quail Bell Cottage, near Yosemite & Kings Canyon.

This is a free-standing home built specifically as a vacation rental cottage in early 2020. It is a quiet, comfortable space in a rural setting with a private patio and views of the Sierra foothills. It is a perfect spot for a family or couple wanting to visit the National Parks nearby (80 min. to Yosemite, 120+ to Sequoia and Kings Canyon). That being said, please read further to learn why there are so many photos of rattlesnakes in my listing. All good things come with inherent challenges...

Enjoy entire home well maintained for over 100 years with large back yard and patio. Located in historic railroad town of Colfax just a few blocks from Interstate 80. Drive 20 to 45 minutes to play in the snow in winter at Nyack, Boreal or Sugar Bowl and in summer there is plenty of hiking, biking, boating, and relaxing at nearby Rollins Lake, American River, Yuba River, Tahoe National Forest and Donner Summit. Every detail was delightfully planned in this restored historical cottage. Built as part of the original Hassler Homestead circa late 1800's. The original miners shack was fully renovated by a designer/builder team to create this creek side escape. This 1 bedroom / 1 bathroom retreat is located in the heart of Apple Hill within walking distance to Barsotti's, Delfino Farms and Lava Cap Winery. Immerse yourself in the tranquil, creek side setting as you relax in the private hot tub.

1 bedroom above garage with its own entrance. Sofa folds into a standard bed. 2-3 adults maximum. Heat/ Cool system. SMART TV, no cable. WIFI available; password is on the box behind the TV. Washer/dryer in unit. Kitchen has dishwasher, coffee maker, microwave. Dishes, pans/pots, linens provided. 2 miles from 99 Freeway & downtown dining/ entertainment. Only hours from San Francisco, Yosemite, or Dodge Ridge Ski Resort. PLEASE, due to family health concerns, no animals in the unit.

Pine antiques and floor, mid-century modern, marble bathroom and 2 bedrooms. Open kitchen and dining room. Farm tables on 2 decks in summer and 3 french doors. Orchard and 100-year old olive trees. Private gated entrance and 2-acre property fully fenced. Locally made fresh croissants. Cafe Collage, operates Thursday-Sunday from 5-8 PM, on property for take-out and private events, in a separate building. Monday-Wednesday you have the property to yourself.
