Nous sommes restés deux jours chez Sue, nous avons passé noël la bas. Honnêtement, je n’ai rien à dire de négatif. Tout été conforme à la descprition. Sue nous a accueilli très gentiment et s’est rendue disponible pour nous. Nous ne regrettons rien de ce séjour et nous vous le recommandons les yeux fermés ! ☺️

We had a very pleasant stay! The unit is neat and cozy with everything you need, and we loved the mountain view, farm animals and peaceful surroundings. Lucas is a great host too and made us feel very welcome

What a beautiful stay. Sally & Margaret were great! The treehouse is actually a hidden gem. The estate is out of the way of the crowds but close enough to everything. The treehouse has all the amenities you could need, it is spacious, furniture is comfortable, aesthetically pleasing and the whole place was clean! I would 100% go back and wish we could have stayed longer! Thank you for being such gracious and accommodating hosts!

Der Bauernhof von Mike und Nita ist wunderschön. Eine liebevolle Oase der Ruhe und des Friedens. Man ist wirklich Gast im Leben der Beiden und sie lassen einen daran teilhaben. Sie sind beide sehr herzlich und zuvorkommend. Eine Freude zwei Nächte bei ihnen gewesen zu sein. Das Frühstück ist übrigens auch wunderbar und die Lage ist für den Addo Elephantenpark ideal. Bettenqualität ist hervorragend.

If you are looking to disconnect with real life and connect with nature then this is the place to go! We had a lovely stay at River Lodge at Karoo Ridge Conservancy. The hosts were very friendly and helpful and considerate with providing a camping cot and feeding chair for our baby and a net over the pool. Everything you need is there. We also did some of the hikes from the River Lodge and went for a great game drive with sundowners. Our dogs enjoyed the space as well. With no cell reception and WIFI at the lodge (only available at the reception shop), this is exactly what we need d for our breakaway. We will definitely visit again.

Helen was kind and welcoming. You can tell it’s a very well loved space. The rooms are cozy with such soft and comfy bedding. We loved the fireplace, full fridge space, and refreshing rainwater from the tap! Breakfast and dinner at Wild Fox Hill was all so delicious and nutrient rich! (My husband raved about the venison burger) Really incredible place for star watching and relaxing into a slow pace. The road up isn’t too bad, we faired well even with our low ground clearance rental. Just take it easy. We are excited to come back for a longer visit. Really nice space for the family to chill.

What a pleasure to stay at this beautiful place! We travel frequently and have stayed at a variety of locations, but we usually do not book long-term unless we see the property first. This time was different. Just looking at the booking page, something clicked for us and felt right, so we booked for almost three weeks, sight unseen. We were not disappointed, as it was everything better than we had hoped. The beautiful photos did not do justice to the actual vistas. Overlooking a nearly private, remarkably clean beach, you are surrounded by nature. The Cottage is clean, well-equipped with everything you need and comfortable. The hosts are great!! Friendly, attentive, with useful tips for shopping, etc. We will miss our times sitting outside taking in the view, having a coffee and biscotti with the delicious fresh milk the host family shared. Outdoor cooking on the braai and al fresco dinners became our habit and we really just wanted to stay at the cottage all of the day. Thank you!

What a lovely place! Brenda is a fantastic host, she made us feel right at home; the cottage is comfortable and homely on a wonderfully peaceful farm in the Karoo. Dusty the lab was super friendly and took us on a lovely stroll around the farm which was just what we needed after having spent the day in the car. The braai pack Brenda supplied for our dinner was delicious and we had a lovely evening, enjoying the spectacular sunset and taking in the awe-inspiring night sky of the Karoo.

We loved the place the minute we walked into the cottage. Everything you need (and beyond) is there and the view over the valley is amazing. Michelle's place also offers some amazing walks in the forest, and it is a great place for bird watchers. This is a place for nature lovers and it is super easy to immerse into it. Having said this it is still a very comfortable place and Michelle does everything to make that this feels like a home-away-from home. What a beautiful place and for sure we will book it again!

What an amazing experience. We were so relaxed and enjoyed the tranquility that the farm had to offer. Just hearing the birds chirping was magical. Loved the outside bath, which I got to try out. Waldo was so welcoming, recommended the Plett wine & bubbly festival (which was amazing). Assisted us in getting the fire going in order to have braai on the Saturday evening. Definitely recommend the place.

We had the most incredible experience at Claire’s Airbnb! We hosted a baby shower here, and it was absolutely perfect in every way. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the setting with all the amazing animals made it truly special. From the moment we arrived, the staff was beyond accommodating, ensuring everything ran smoothly and that we felt welcome. The animals were a huge highlight! They added such a unique and magical touch to our celebration—everyone, from kids to adults, was in awe of them. It was such a joy to be surrounded by such a peaceful and beautiful environment. Claire and her team went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed, and their hospitality made all the difference. If you're looking for a one-of-a-kind venue for a special event or just a relaxing getaway, this is the place to be. We can't recommend it enough! Thank you, Claire, for an unforgettable experience—we'll definitely be back!

Tanja and her husband are lovely people who made us feel right at home. They were always willing to answer questions and give helpful suggestions. The house was exactly as advertised with everything you need and more. The shower is a steaming hot dream! The kitchen is well equipped and we had a great time cooking in this kitchen. The jacuzzi was our daily relaxation spot with a view, while we had our morning coffees admiring the view from the deck. We spent one afternoon at the dam swimming, paddling and tubing to our hearts delight. We also did the short walk to the pretty picnic area by the river. Unfortunately we ran out of time and couldn't do the longer hikes on the farm. We would come and stay with Tanja again in a heartbeat!

A very special space, meant for those who enjoy a farm style holiday but with all possible comforts, and more. honestly, I have stayed at many a farm cottages with my kids, but never have I found one like at Nix’ with carefully chosen plates, cups, pottery, and even an air fryer and yoga mats! The kids enjoyed the treehouse and toys. We could not make time to canoe in the river (right at your doorstep) but that will be for the next trip! The only downside was the sound of cars rushing past on the highway. Wish there was a speed limit on those cars.. look forward to being at this farm again

Our stay at Elephant View Homestead in Plettenberg Bay was nothing short of spectacular! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the incredible attention to detail and the warm, welcoming atmosphere. The freshly baked sourdough, honey from the farm and eggs from the chickens was the most thoughtful touch. The location is unbeatable—perched on a peaceful farm with breathtaking views of elephants roaming freely at the neighboring Knysna Elephant Park. Waking up to the sight of these majestic animals from our stoep was an unforgettable experience! Yet, despite the tranquil setting, we were just a short drive from Plettenberg Bay’s stunning beaches, amazing restaurants, and charming shops. The homestead itself is immaculate, thoughtfully designed, and stocked with everything we could possibly need (and more!). We cannot wait to return to this home from home...thank you Carrie and Laura for the most amazing stay!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Wir waren für vier Nächte in der wunderschönen Unterkunft von Lydia auf ihrer Farm. Das Zimmer ist sehr gemütlich und schick eingerichtet. auch für Familien ist es sehr gut geeignet, es gibt eine Verbindungstür zwischen beiden Suiten. Um unseren Aufenthalt komfortabel zu gestalten, haben wir sogar ein Babybett und Hochstuhl erhalten. Lydia zeigte uns alles und war immer erreichbar und freundlich. Wir konnten eigenständig über die Farm laufen und die Hühner und Pferde anschauen. Der Strand ist nicht weit entfernt und die Lage zur Nähe von Porto Elizabeth und Addo Elephant Park sind sehr gut. Vielen Dank für den wundervollen Aufenthalt.

This was a beautiful place to stay with family and our toddler. Our son loved running around and interacting with the horses. The freedom to walk anywhere on the farm was amazing. The sunsets every evening were breathtaking as well. Although a little chilly in the evenings, the house was clean and spacious. And extremely toddler friendly which was a massive win. The bath mat and high chair provided made our stay even more comfortable. We also enjoyed a braai both nights. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. We enjoyed every minute of being here! I would highly recommend this place.

After a long road on our way to Knysna, this was a wonderful stopover. It is a bit far off the main road and therefore it will be better to stay there for another day. It is rest for the soul. Diane is a superb host. This farm house experience will stay in our memories for a long time. We travel to and from Knysna often, and we will definitely be visiting again. Thanks for a lovely place to stay.

We really enjoyed our overnight stay at the cottage. It was spacious and Rozelle was very accommodating in providing extra bedding for an additional guest. The cottage is spacious and the kitchen is well equipped. It was lovely to wake up to the sounds of the farm in the morning. The location worked well for us.

Stunning location and house with lots of places to visit and enjoy nearby; Deborah was very helpful; and we have already recommended Good Earth to friends!

The Hideaway is a little slice of heaven. Peaceful, modern and with an unbeatable view. Cathryn and Brendan were wonderful hosts, extremely helpful and friendly. It was truly a magical experience!

What an amazing weekend we had with family. Memories were made and it was the weekend we never knew we needed.
