Snuggled on the shore of Caribou lake, this home is surrounded by water on two sides with over 500 ft. of lakeshore. The house combines stunning Scandinavian design with cozy touches to make you feel at home in the woods. The property features a sauna house, dock, canoes, deck, screen porch, and a long sweeping driveway. Located in Lutsen, MN- a short drive from the ski hill and 20 minutes from Grand Marais. The house has heated floors, vaulted ceilings, and sweeping window views from all sides.

This home is a spacious converted barn with 2 bedrooms, and kitchen/family room, studio, loft and one bathroom. It is set in the woods just a few miles from Lake Superior. Being off the shore of Lake Superior has it's advantages--it is quieter and at night so dark that if it is clear you can reach out and touch the millions of stars in the sky. The grounds are ample with a large covered patio and fire ring. Reservations less than 2 day prior please message us we will do our best to accommodate.

The ridge top location has spectacular views through the trees - with lake views after the leaves drop. The property also boasts a fantastic wood fired cedar sauna - perfect for rejuvenating.

Our Little House is located just 3 short miles from beautiful down town Grand Marais. There are several stores where you can purchase supplies, a number of fun shops to meander through, good food, great coffee friendly people and of course, Beautiful Lake Superior! There are several hiking, biking, skiing and snowmobile trails as well as lakes for fishing, canoeing and kayaking. We are only 20 mi from Lutsen, and 3 from the North House Folk School to visit or take in a class.
