This is by far my favorite stay in the north land. Brandon’s place was peaceful and fun. Large enough for the family to stay comfortably. Clean and beautiful. Everything we needed was there. Games. Pool table. Beautiful craftsmanship. Nice trail around the property. Just far enough from Spooner to be quiet and serene but not a bad drive to town, about 18 minutes. Checkin was easy. Instructions were clear and reasonable. Host response was timely and thorough. Great place for family with kids of most ages, but probably not for toddlers. We will stay here again, for sure!!

Stayed over New Year’s Eve with friends. Marla was very responsive to any questions we had. We enjoyed the place and especially the hot tub. Would stay here again.

We had an amazing stay at Karin's place. She did an incredible job transforming and curating this cozy cabin with all the perfect decor and aesthetics. Had everything we needed and very clear instructions for everything. The nature was amazing and the weather was great for us. It was a great reset weekend. We would love to be back some day.

This gem in the woods is absolutely incredible. Great amenities, kitchen well-stocked with tools, and beautiful layout. The pre-visit document laid out all expectations, and the house was clean.

Was a great stay! Had lots of fun and the place was very cozy. A very cabin feel (the various mounts were interesting to look at) yet overall a practical living space. The two twin beds downstairs were not in the best spot (right next to the ping pong table), but still better than not having them. Everything was well kept and clean. An easy 5/5!

Beautiful cabin surrounded by nothing but trees and tranquility. The hot tub was the cherry on top!

a very nice cabin stay! ⭐️ so peaceful and exactly as described. we loved the paddle boat and watching the loons diving under the water. sunrise on easter morning was incredible! the only thing missing was the hanging chairs by the fireplace!

Absolutely gorgeous place! Secluded, quiet, but also less than 5 minutes to town. This place has so much to do indoors and outside, or if you just want to relax and enjoy coffee as the sun comes up over the lake. The host was proactive in getting info, directions, and suggestions to me. I would 100% stay here again as it was a great place to bring my family.

This place has the perfect Trifecta for our small family - EV charging, dog friendly and a playground to boot. We had a lovely staycation with our toddler. For anglers, there is a public boat launch within 1 mile. For EVers- in addition to the 14-50 plug, they have 30A 240 and a 20A 120v, so you can charge multiple EVs if needed (a true rarity). The hosts were pleasant and accommodating, we would gladly stay again!

Jeff was very accommodating with any of our needs/requests, and the location was perfect for our trip requirements. The kitchen is well stocked for any cooking you may wish to do during your stay as well, removing the need to go out to eat if you wish to. My familey and I look forward to another stay here everytime we will be visiting in the area in the future!

Scott was friendly, responsive, and accommodating. It was a bit cold when we went so we didn’t swim at all. We did have a great time kayaking. House was very cozy. The kitchen has most of the basics but would recommend more seasonings (garlic powder, onion powder, etc) and possibly a bigger pot for boiling pasta. Chetek is a great city, some cool artisan shops/antique places, good bars. The folks in town were noticeably friendly. It’s a bit of a drive, but would strongly recommend the Enchanted Barn: amazing pizza, good drinks, good atmosphere, live music if you’re into that. Overall great visit, great host, great place, and great city.

What a well set up experience! From the easy access to the home and set up of wifi to the layout of the property, everything was a treat. Would 100% stay here again! The main bedroom was comfortable and we found so many useful things included for use from the pack n play to the flashlights and lighters to the nice sized deck. Would have loved to get a campfire going but didn’t have the time. What a great place to spend a week or more at if you were inclined…the game room is a nice added bonus. So much to do to occupy your time…absolutely wonderful experience . Brian was super responsive to questions too! Wish we had more time to enjoy it.

I've stayed here several times. Very peaceful, cozy, and scenic. The cabin has everything a home would need, and Pine City is only 10 or 15 minutes away, so provisions are close if you forget anything. I'll be back again in the fall. Thanks for making this place available Tracy and Dave!

Brandi's place was perfect for Birkie weekend. A little bit of a drive to the course and events, but not too bad. The cabin was as advertised and Brandi was very responsive and a great host.

What a wonderful experience! Host was so responsive! This A-Frame had all to simple attention to detail to include all the fixings for s’mores! Location was so peaceful! If I could I would return sooner than later! I cannot recommend highly enough! As they say… “just do it!” Kris

This is our 4th time at the Blue Cabin and it is as wonderful each time we visit. Place is beautiful and feels like you are home away from home. Very comfortable. David and Laurie are outstanding hosts. So accommodating and making you so welcomed. Will be back many times to come.

Steve’s place is full of charm and character. Tastefully designed and beautifully executed. (It appears that someone has been putting in quite a bit of work)

Great little cabin for 4 adults. Very comfortable and clean. Host was very quick to respond and friendly. Had everything and looked just like the pictures. Super easy to find and very peaceful. Would definitely stay here again!

We loved our stay. We enjoyed the comforts of cabin and screened porch The deck and grill were great to use. We loved exploring the trail and river. Doug thought of making us have a wonderful time. We loved the coffee bean grinder and espresso maker. We watched birds and loved all the green popping up from the ground. Thank you for sharing your retreat. It was beautiful. The wren cafe in Luck was so fun. Beautiful scenery and delicious food and more espresso 😀

We have only come in the warmer months so this was a real treat to come in the winter. Easy to use indoor fireplace and kitchen has everything we needed. Grocery store either in Hinckley or Danbury. We went snowshoeing right after a snowfall. It was beautiful and got a bit lost; we should've brought a map that is provided in the cabin...We called and owners immediately helped us by co.ing to rescue us from the trails around Beaver Pond. We will be back this summer and again next Winter!!!

Amazing place. Super cozy and comfortable. The wood burning stove and record player created a magical retreat for creating family memories. The loft is adorable and very spacious! The basement was way roomier than expected. All beds were very comfortable!! and a total hit with my kids. Communication was quick and easy and Naomi was great at checking in with us throughout our stay. Highly recommend!!!

We recently stayed at Matt's cabin and it was the perfect getaway. The house was spotless, well maintained and comfortable. We normally pack bedding, towels and all the "cabin box essentials" which were all provided by Matt which is great to know for the next time! The yard is flat leading to your own private dock. There is also a pontoon boat there if you wanted to rent that. The weather was perfect, the leaves just starting to change, and the fishing was great! We will be back.

Due to an injury, we had to stay a second night here and our host was very accommodating throughout the process. The sauna is PRISTINE. I am a Finlander and grew up with a true sauna house build by my great-grandfather…this was a lot like our homeland property, and made our stay comfortable. We are also a LONG line of musicians and came into town for my father’s show at the Casino. We woke Saturday to him playing the drums! It was such a beautiful touch to a well furnished cabin, which is more like a massive home. Thank you, Pavel. We appreciate your flexibility as we navigated chaos. We would absolutely stay again - the space is extremely large and would fit our large family four times over.

What a gem! Exceeded my expectations. Log cabin charm with all the comforts of a very tasteful renovation. Amazing lake view, cozy stone fireplace, and comfortable living room and deck seating. Well appointed and very clean kitchen and dining room stocked with dinnerware, glassware, cooking utensils and appliances. Very comfortable beds and fresh linens. The bathroom is not pictured but is very cute and definitely on par with the charm and clean modernization of the rest of the cabin. Ceiling fans throughout added a nice cool breeze and the reclaimed barn wood throughout is amazing! Nice Smart TV/Wifi and a great selection of DVDs, games and puzzles. Something for everyone! Excellent communication from our host, clear instructions and easy access. It was a quick and easy drive up from the Twin Cities and both Sandstone and Hinkley offered convenient grocery and dining options nearby. I would easily recommend this getaway to friends and family. I hope to stay again! A+
