Owl Cottage, Goetre Hall, Meifod Mid Wales

Goetre Hall is nestled in the heart of the beautiful Welsh countryside near the Shropshire borders, on the outskirts of the small village of Meifod. The perfect spot for a relaxing countryside break but within easy reach of the many attractions that Mid Wales and Shropshire have to offer. The footpaths on our doorstep give you an excellent opportunity to explore mid Wales. This will be appreciated by any four-legged friends that accompany you on your holiday as our cottages are dog friendly.

The Summerhouse sits 250m from Offa's Dyke Path with access to miles of walks, ideal for anyone wanting to explore Shropshire and mid-Wales. It is a charming Grade 2 listed building, with commanding views of the Severn Valley to Montgomery. Recently refurbished - the top floor has a comfortable super-king double bed, beneath a Victorian vaulted wooden ceiling and a cosy sitting area with QLED TV and super fast fibre broadband. Elevated Quirky Cabin over River

This romantic tree cabin is located on the edge of a tranquil woodland at the bottom of a beautiful privately owned 5 acre garden, overlooking a hypnotic river waterfall. This majestic retreat is where you can unwind, relax and recharge, with full access to the BBQ area and on site sauna. If sitting back is not for you there are several local country walks and attractions. By car Wrexham is just 5 minutes away, Chester 25 minutes and if you fancy a day in Liverpool, it’s only an hour away.

Red House Cottage (self catering cottage)

Modern, very comfortable and very clean. Sleeps 4, double ensuite room and double/twin room also ensuite. Outside area, fully equipped kitchen and comfortable lounge. In a quiet village setting with two pubs serving food within a two minutes walk of the cottage. Free wifi, smart TV’s in bedrooms. Until recently Red House Cottage was run as a B&B but the owners decided to fit a kitchen to create a self contained cottage for self catering holidays. The cottage is on the side of our home.

Situated opposite the town’s train station for the Llanfair Heritage Steam Railway. Its location affords easy access to the gateway of wales. Uneven flagstone steps to 1 double bedroom. Rural retreat for two, not suitable for pets/animals or children.Hillview has been converted from a barn to provide very spacious and contemporary accommodation, nestling in the side of a hill overlooking a valley. Hillview is well equipped with everything that you would need for your perfect holiday. The accommodation is arranged over two floors. The living area has an Aga wood burner to keep you warm and cosy in winter and radiators in each room supplied by an oil combi boiler.
