Here In the beautiful Forest of Dean, we are so fortunate to have thousands of acres of forest nestled between the Wye Valley AONB and the Severn Estuary. It’s a special place with a rich history, scenic landscapes, friendly people and many outdoor pursuits. Forest View Cabin is perfectly placed for exploring. At the end of a quiet cul-de-sac, it’s a peaceful hillside location set in a half-acre garden at the Old Cottage. The log style cabin enjoys panoramic views of the woods and garden.

Self contained loft with a view

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. The loft is a perfect place to stay for anyone who wants to relax whilst overlooking the glorious panoramic forest view. The accommodation is compact comprising a silent night double bed, sofa, shower and toilet room, kitchenette with microwave, fridge / freezer and TV. The loft is ideally situated for forest walks, bike riding or enjoying any one of the attractions within the forest of dean. Please add dogs to the booking if bringing them.

The Coach House

Open plan kitchenette and lounge downstairs, upstairs comprises of bedroom with kingsize bed, toilet and separate shower room. Ideal for country walks and conveniently located for many nearby attractions including Slimbridge wildfowl wetlands centre, Berkeley Castle and short drive to Bristol or Cheltenham Racecourse. Shared outside space including car parking and garden.

Wordsmith's Cottage

Boasting old floorboards, original beams and quirky features, this historical semi-detached cottage allows guests to switch off from the outside world. The location benefits from easy access to countryside walks but it's also just a few minutes walk from charming shops, cafés and country pubs. Our first guests used the space as an escape to write their scripts and novels and we encourage all guests to relish in the romance of village living and explore their creativity.

Luxury Shepherd's Hut in The Cotswolds

Sans Souci is a bespoke Shepherd's hut, lovingly hand built to an incredibly high spec. Completed in April 2021, it has a double bed, and double sofa bed. There is a well-equipped kitchen, a shower room with sink and compost toilet, and a log burning stove. There are far reaching views of the Cotswold hills, which can be taken in from the South-facing deck. Enjoy al fresco meals, cooking over the fire pit in the garden or walks galore in the local countryside.

Peregrine Hideaway

Nestled in the forest, in an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the South facing cabin fronts a footpath that leads out into the beautiful landscape. It is situated within our garden, with its own access so you are free to come and go as you please. It lends itself to quiet activities such as writing or similar. It is very peaceful and ideal for a quiet retreat from city life and an escape into nature. The main attraction is walking and/or mountain biking.

Pretty cottage in Saul

Pretty cottage in the heart of Saul with access to local pubs, the Gloucester Sharpness canal and the River Severn. Recently refurbished this light, bright and cosy cottage has plenty of space for all the family including bunk beds. The snug sitting room has a log burner - perfect for winter evenings. The large garden and patio area are well equipped for all, and the new kitchen provides a great entertaining space.

The Hayloft - converted Georgian barn

The Hayloft is a beautifully converted former haybarn set in the grounds of our Georgian family home. Featuring a log burner and views of the nearby countryside, The Hayloft is the perfect setting for a break in the picturesque Forest of Dean. With easy access to local walks from the front door and access by car to Cheltenham (40 mins), Bristol (40 mins) and Bath (60 mins).
