Free on and off-street parking is available nearby. After parking there is a short, moderately steep path to the cottage. A 5 minutes' walk down to the town's restaurants, pubs & shops, and good transport links to Matlock, Bakewell, Chatsworth House and Derby. Walkers can explore the High Peak Trail directly from the cottage.

There is plenty of space for 6 people and the house is ideal for friends or family - an excellent base for a walking or cycling holiday in the Peak District. Three spacious living rooms allow flexibility to make use of the board games, enjoy the stunning views or just curl up with a good book in front of the log burner.
