Quirky Tin Cottage near the Mendip Hills

Our cottage is a quirky wooden framed, tin clad cottage, sitting on the banks of a stream, next to our house. Although small it feels much bigger with a fully equipped kitchen, bedroom and bathroom. It can sleep 4 people with the use of the sofa bed. It features a wood burning stove, (it also has central heating ;-)), a gorgeous mural across one wall, a veranda for sitting and watching the world go by, oh and it also has full WiFi, smart TV and sound system if this all sounds a little rustic.

A perfect 'tiny home' for visitors wanting a city break or a country escape or a blend of both. Use this haven as a base to see the sites, sounds and sports activities offered in the city of Bristol. Adventure on foot for gorgeous walks or cycle along the great network of cycle paths. Day drives to Bath, Cheddar Gorge, Wells, Glastonbury, and surrounds are within easy reach. For those commuters who need access to Bristol International Airport, we are a stone's throw away (by bus or Uber).

The perfect base for visiting the West Country.

This cosy country cottage within the village of Chew Stoke is perfect for a couple or small family looking for a getaway, walking distance to Chew Valley Lake, a short drive to Chew Magna with its award winning pubs and restaurants and equidistant to Bristol, Bath, Wells and Cheddar. There is a king size bed upstairs, large wardrobe, and bathroom with shower and bath. Downstairs the living room has a real fire with wood burning, oak floors, smart tv and sofa bed. Well behaved dogs welcome.

The Vault

The Vault is a really special space, which we hope you can see from the photographs. It is a basement studio apartment with its own private entrance. It is quiet and cosy with underfloor heating and an ambient temperature all year round. This property is very central, making it easy to plan your visit. We are very close to the harbour and the property is on the famous Georgian Square, Queen Square. It feels like you have stepped into a film from Jane Austen as you come out of the building.

The Beehive, at Snatch Farm, Ubley is a new refurbishment of old farm buildings, tucked round the back of Snatch Farm. There is 1 double bedroom, a fully equipped kitchen, open plan sitting /dining room and bathroom. Surrounded by countryside this is a truly peaceful place. Perfect for couples or individuals to explore the beautiful Chew Valley and Mendip Hills and the cities of Bristol, Bath and Wells. The Beehive is next to our family home with access via our garden. You'll have private access to a large garden with great views of the aeroplanes coming over head. We are a dog friendly place, with the common just at the top of the hill for great walks and fresh air for your furry ones. We are located less than a mile from the airport which is perfectly convenient for those early morning flights.

The annexe has recently been fully renovated and is attached to our main bungalow. Guests will have full access to the private annexe with all appropriate furnishings/equipment within the property. It is conveniently close to Bristol Airport (less than a 5 minute drive) and a 20 minute drive to Bristol. There are other villages and towns close by, with the North Somerset Coast a short drive away.

“The Hayloft" is our recently renovated studio here at "Woodpeckers", attached to our family home, but completely separate with own entrance, kitchen & bathroom. At the end of a long private drive with off-street parking & next to woods, the only noise you'll hear is the birds in the morning! Listing is for 3 people but we only accept 2 adults maximum plus 1 (or 2) young children.
