The Nest is 4 mins walk from a Bike Hire and Electric scooter hire, local shops, Bars and restaurants. Bournemouth sandy beaches are about a 10 minutes bike ride and 5 mins in the car from the Nest. Ideal for walkers, bird-watchers and nature lovers, this quiet bolt-hole is in the garden of one of the oldest houses in Swanage. The Purbeck stone building in the southern outskirts of the town is separate from the main house, has it's own entrance and off-road parking. A five minute walk brings you to the Durlston National Nature Reserve looking out over the Jurassic coast. Durlston Castle, the Lighthouse and the Southwest Coast Path are 15 minutes away on foot. All without crossing a road.

Enjoy the wood fire, private deck with grill, village shop and pubs. A peaceful home away from home to unwind and explore the charm of rural Dorset.

Lovely beaches close by at West Bay, Seatown, Eype, Charmouth and Lyme Regis. We are approx. 2 miles from Charmouth. The Garden Studio welcomes dogs.

Just a short walk from pubs, restaurants and shops, it’s an ideal base for your stay. Guests also enjoy Sky Sports, Wi-Fi and a cosy outdoor seating area, making it perfect for a romantic, relaxing or adventure-filled getaway.
