Welcome to the Talbot at Iwerne Minster! At the Talbot, you will find a cosy pub in the heart of the beautiful Dorset countryside. Our restaurant is open every day including Saturday and Sunday . Please note our latest check in time is 8pm,please call if later. You will find a well-stocked bar with a fine selection of real ales, draught beers and ciders, wines and fine wines. The bar is open from 12 noon until 9pm Monday - Thursday, 12 noon until 10pm Friday, noon until 6pm Sunday.

The “Austen Suite” is named after the novelist Jane Austen who visited Lyme Regis on more than one occasion in the early 19th century and based her novel Persuasion there. It is a spacious first floor room with a luxurious super king size four poster bed, sofa and extensive westerly views over countryside to the sea. The Austen Suite has an en suite wet room which is also fitted with Thomas Crapper sanitary ware.

Perfect for family stays, our spacious Family Suite can sleep up to four guests across one open-planned room. Located on the first floor, this luxurious room is accessed by external stairs. With a king-size bed, it features an in-room free-standing bath with a separate toilet and sink. The other end of the room offers a single daybed, a sofa bed, and an LCD TV. There is a further en-suite with a large shower.
