Take a leisurely walk under the towering trees in the quiet wooded acre surrounding our cozy, alpine-inspired cabin with contemporary bohemian touches. Sleep in upstairs under deep-set skylights, observe wildlife out our large picture windows, or curl up by the fire on the rustic screened porch. Daydream on our hammock or dine alfresco taking advantage of our barbeque. On a clear night, it is easy to stargaze up through the tall trees, perhaps while toasting marshmallows fireside.

Now open in Winter, but subject to refunded cancellation if Snow makes the driveway unpassable for those without 4 or all wheel drive. This rental is a small cabin in the woods of New Paltz, NY. The cabin sleeps 4 with 2 twin beds in the loft and has a pullout couch with a quality queen size mattress. The kitchen is equipped but does not have an oven. Streaming TV and Internet. Near the Shawangunk climbing mountain and hiking/cycling trails, Accord “downtown” and super chic Inness.

Lidar West is a unique mountain home located in the woods by one of New York City's major reservoirs. The main house is a 1400 sqft 2 bed, 2 bath, ideal for families with kids, and there's a sleeping cabin with an additional queen bed, electric heater, and wood burning stove called Hemmelig Rom, which I built myself using oak milled on the property.
