I'm an architect, and originally designed the studio as a workspace at the rear of our home for my photographer husband, Ian. We've recently converted it to a self-contained dwelling, so we can share what we love about the city. Your home away from home is a 5 minute taxi or bus ride or a 30 minute walk to the Wellington CBD and the main sports and event stadiums. Parking is on the street.

Two minutes walk to Courtenay Place, Te Papa, Tākina Conference Centre and the waterfront, it's perfectly placed for exploring Wellington on foot. After dark the entertainment quarter and some of Wellingtons best restaurants are at your doorstep.

Guest Suite in Brooklyn

A self contained studio room on the bottom floor of our home with a private entrance and self checkin Off road parking is available. We do not have full cooking facilities but offer tea and coffee making facilities, a microwave, toaster, and fridge and provide a continental style breakfast. The studio is close to the city centre and on a direct bus route. Brooklyn Village is home to restaurants. cafes, a cinema, fast food outlets and a well stocked mini market.

Self-contained Studio-Wadestown

Newly built downstairs self-contained studio unit in a century old Wadestown bungalow. A complimentary continental breakfast is provided. Unit has a separate entrance, and guests are welcome to share the deck and garden areas set amongst the bushclad hills. Centrally located being a 25-minute walk or less than 10-minute bus ride to the city and Hnry Stadium. Bus stop at the gate. Approximately a 10-minute car ride to the ferry terminals. Free on street parking.

Tui House

A perfect spot to stay for bush-walkers and mountain bikers or for sport or music fans in Wellington for a game or a concert. You’ll see tui and kereru and hear ruru at night. Otari Wilton Bush is over the road, Zealandia 2km away, and it’s a 10-min drive to Makara Peak. You've got a dedicated off road car park and you're 30 metres from a bus that runs at least every 30 minutes every day. You can cook, do laundry, and iron if you want to.
