Runamuk Farm

Picturesque location on farmland with views of the mountains. We are a micro farm. Wake up and watch the sunrise and go for a short hike on the property, and get to know the animals. We are located 35 minutes from Saratoga Springs and Lake George, NY and 45 minutes from Dorset and Manchester, VT. Hike the Adirondack or Green Mountains, paddle the streams or go to a nearby small city for a play, a festival, or a concert. There is a long list of things to do and see within an hour of our camp.

Cabin Getaway to Lake George

Enjoy space, privacy, nature in an off-grid tiny cabin. Relax at a private (heated) cabin that sits on a seasonal stream. There is no plumbing or electricity. The outhouse is shown in photos. This isn't safe for toddlers (stream with a steep rocky bank and a narrow bridge without a railing). It's perfect for nature lovers. Enjoy hiking from the cabin or drive to close-by trails. Lake George (actual lake) is 1/4 mile away. The village with public beaches (and bathhouse) is a 10 min drive.

Nestled in the hills of Washington County, NY this peaceful off the grid cabin with a screened porch is the perfect weekend get away. Tucked away on a private pond, come stay here to get a taste of the outdoors and get lulled to sleep by the sounds of the country! Enjoy all the space has to offer by bringing charcoal for the grill and enjoying a nice meal on the picnic table! Or start a cozy campfire and roast s’mores. General Horatio Gates

Experience modern camping accommodations on the hallowed grounds where 6,200 British Troops camped during the surrender after the 1777 Battle of Saratoga. This cabin pays homage to General Horatio Gates who led the American Continental Army troops during the battle of Saratoga and accepted the surrender of British General Burgoyne. The Container Cabins are our premier accommodations at the Schuyler Yacht Basin utilizing a recycled shipping container for a unique stay.

The log cabins are some of the most beloved accommodations at the Lake Lauderdale Campground because they offer a bit of privacy and comfort for your family while still being “no-frills” (there are no bathrooms in the cabins, however, there is a wash house short walking distance located nearby). If you have any “reluctant campers,” in your family, this might be a nice compromise.
