The Roosevelt

I built this cabin in 1989, this property has a lot of history, it was part of the land that my father in law acquired from the Roosevelt program, I believe that was in 1932, he was one of the few original settlers. we have 25 acres we are in process of making walking trail that will wind back and forth through the entire property. will be a good chance of seeing all kind of wildlife including deer turkey, squirrels and all kind of birds. A short drive to Callaway Gardens & Roosevelt Park. Few people even know it exists except the owners whose family has occupied this land since 1835 . An hour South of Atlanta, the cabin is not primitive, it has all the modern convenience sitting on a 20 ac tract with bigger tracts of land adjoining. I have a five person sleep accommodation but if you are a larger family I can make an allowance. It is a very safe area and we are available if you need us.

Located in beautiful Thomaston, Georgia , Stillmeadows is home to two privately owned, authentic, 1885 cabins. 14 acres of peaceful surroundings with a stocked pond so bring your fishing gear. Farm animals complete the experience. The property is located only 75 minutes from the Atlanta Airport. It is close to Sprewell Bluff, which offers hiking, mountain biking, fishing, and kayaking on Flint River.
