The house is fully renovated, with high ceilings, arches and a classical Spanish interior patio. There are many decorating touches and liberal use of plants create a tropical environment that invites relaxation. You will have full access to the house. We will provide you with a detailed description and instruction of all the facilities in the house, including the operation of all the appliances such as washer / dryer, dishwasher and microwave instructions, Also included will be instructions for all remotes: satellite boxes, smart Hi Def TVs, and air conditioning. We will be available by cellphone, text messaging and Airbnb messaging to answer all your questions about the house facilities, and provide you with tourist information such as restaurants that we recommend, places to visit, shopping, tours to take, walking tours to do on your own, music venues, etc. We provide a detailed guidebook with photos. In addition, we can arrange for knowledgeable, certified guides to take you on tours of Old San Juan and other areas around the island, including beaches in the San Juan area, and many eco oriented tours. The house is in Old San Juan. It is easy access important sights such as La Puerta de San Juan, El Morro Spanish Fort, La Rogativa, La Princesa, Ballaja, Las Americas Museum, City Museum, La Fortaleza, Plaza de Armas, and Cristo Street. Old San Juan is built for walking. You will not need a car while you are in Old San Juan. If you need to get out of Old San Juan, you can get a taxi in a taxi stand near the house, or use Uber. If you have a big group we can possibly arrange for group transportation. If you rent a car, Old San Juan has a variety of public parking lots and a trolley system to help you move around the area during the day. Ask for more details. If after your visit you are continuing travel on a cruise ship to visit other Caribbean islands, you may be able to walk to your ship, as many ships start their trip from the port in Old San Juan. Or disembark from your ship and stay with us for a few days to enjoy this wonderful city.

Botanica House by the Lagoon

This is a very cozy styled house with its traditional patterned flooring tile and details. This house has two stories, on the first story you'll find the Kitchen, Dining Room, Living Room (with a sofa bed for extra sleep space) and a full bathroom. On the second floor there are two separate bedrooms, each bedroom with a full size bed and closet space, a full bathroom with traditional pink tile-work and a Balcony with seating and BBQ. This house its very close to the San Juan Lagoon where you can rent out paddle boards and kayaks to stroll along the Lagoon (just a 10 min walk or less) and close to Escambrón Beach which can take about a 15 minute walk over. Guests are able to self check in as we provide a lock box at the entrance. They have access to the parking space in front of the house and access to the whole house as well. We love to interact with our guests but understand that some prefer to settle in on their own so thats why we have provided guests with the self check in process. We are ALWAYS available to our guests if they need us and we can meet up with them whenever needed and help with whatever they need! The neighbourhood is a very central, yet relaxed place. The property is close to the most popular restaurants in the Miramar area, and San Juan Laggon Bay is just three minutes away for kayaking and paddle boarding. To get around in this area its very easy. The house is very close to restaurants and supermarket that you can actually walk to. If guests will not be renting any vehicles the Uber is the best way to get around in the metro area.
