Lovely little space in a beautiful historic neighborhood. Books, paintings, photos and decorations with a personal touch made it truly feel like being a guest in someone’s home in a good way. Fresh flowers, fresh eggs from the hens and a couple of cans of local brew were nice surprises. 25 minutes pleasant walk to downtown Asheville. The kitchenette was small but surprisingly well-equipped. The bed was very comfortable and there was a nice large deck in the back. Michele was so friendly and helpful. A wonderful stay!

Highly recommend staying here! The balcony is lovely, the views are lovely, and just down the hill is a wonderful brewery with even more lovely views. We love staying in the French broad district and hope to visit again soon.

Very beautiful home. Heidi + Chris did a great job with the setup and preparation for our stay. Their home was in walking distance from all the great eats that downtown Asheville has to offer, all while being in a quiet and cozy neighborhood. This is my first trip out to Asheville and it was very comforting knowing I had a great home to comeback to every night.

If you are looking for a beautiful, secluded mountain getaway, this is exactly the place! Our host, Brian, went above and beyond from before our stay until we, regrettably, had to go home. Would have liked to stay much longer! We enjoyed the hot tub, fire pit, outdoor lighting, vacation guides, device chargers, freshly cleaned robes, sound machines in the bedrooms, complimentary and high quality soap and shampoo, well-stocked selection of Keurig pods, even the Ingles discount card for those who don't have an Ingles back home. The list of amenities goes on and on! Brian also proactively provided great recommendations and was so helpful. This is an A+++ AirBNB. We hope to be back soon!

We enjoyed our stay at the mint house. This was a perfect spot to visit our family. We never used our car as everything was within walking distance. We enjoyed the beautiful pool area with comfortable seating and the patio area off the living was a quiet spot to enjoy coffee and read.

We loved it! It was clean, cozy, comfortable and had all the conveniences (and then some) of home. Would definitely stay here again and also recommend to friends and family in the area.

Melodie's place is a slice of heaven if you're looking for a peaceful hobby farm retreat. Around every corner were new discoveries whether the beauty of the landscape or the animals in their various living spaces around the property (horses, cows, chickens, couple friendly cats, and sweet welcoming dog Shelby). If you have time for a walk to the woods you'll be treated to a bubbling brook w a bench beside it for some contemplative time, not to mention flowers to gaze at all along way. We hadn't really been aware of the sauna (maybe it's in the listing and we missed it) but it's an incredible treat if you can find time one evening to check it out. There's even more than the exterior beauty and sauna treat, but I'll let you discover some surprises on your own. Ideally, you'll spend several days so you can take it all in. Melodie's family incl husband + kids were so nice + made us feel at home. Our stay was A+++ and we hope to return. Worth driving a little farther for this GEM.

Beautiful get away tucked away in the mountains. We gadw a great time exploring the nearby downtown. Very peaceful stay.

We had an amazing stay at this Airbnb with our family of 10, ranging from a baby to grandparents. The house was meticulously maintained and spotlessly clean. It had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing trip. The layout was perfect, with plenty of space for everyone to spread out while still having great common areas for gathering. Every room was beautifully designed, so no one felt like they got the “lesser” room. The views were absolutely incredible, and we loved the added amenities—board games, foosball, a jacuzzi, and a grill. The host was fantastic—super responsive, helpful with local recommendations, and proactive in keeping us informed about a nearby fire. We truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend this home for any group looking for a relaxing and well-equipped retreat!

Our group was 3 adults and 2 toddlers. It was a great location for us (family lives nearby) and the space suited us well. We definitely hope to stay here again during our next visit to Asheville.

We very much enjoyed our stay in this beautiful and spacious A-frame. Beautiful wooded surroundings and lots of natural light in the house. The home is beautiful inside as well with many thoughtful touches. The host was very thoughtful as well and even reached out to let us know we could have late check out because no one was staying the next night. We had a wonderful stay and would love to stay here again sometime!

This was our second visit to April's home, and we again had an amazing time. The home is very comfortable and has everything that a family could need. The neighborhood is quiet and relaxing. Brevard is less than 20 minutes away and Hendersonville is just 30 minutes away. Plenty of shopping and restaurants, wineries and breweries. We enjoyed hiking and waterfall chasing. We also really just enjoyed spending time together relaxing and enjoying the views from the deck. April was very friendly and responsive to our needs. We will definitely come back!

This house has it all. We had a mix of sunshine and rain during our stay, but that didn't stop this house from entertaining. Everything was set up well, instructions were clear and the host had great communication. Absolutely zero complaints and hope to revisit sometime

Came to town for the closing of a new house. I am familiar with the area and for our purposes we were centrally located for our needs. The house had everything we needed. I work from home and the upstairs has a desk equipt with necessities. We were very impressed with all the thoughtful adds Sheila made sure to include. She was very responsive and pleasant to interact with. I recommend staying here and if I have friends coming to town I will certainly book here again to accommodate them.

This house was the perfect place for a weekend getaway. The house had everything you needed or even what you may have forgotten. The pictures did not do this house justice as it was more beautiful than the pictures. The house had amazing views and was very close to downtown Ashville. Jim & Barbara was very nice and communicated very well. They even created an app for everything the house had to offer, rules, checkout needs and recommended spots around the area like resturaunts and hking trails. This deserves more than 5 stars. Looking forward to my next trip to Ashville as I will be staying her again for sure!!

This was our third time staying here and I want to come back again and again. The perfect location and all that I want from Airbnb! The condo and hosts are wonderful.

Overall, wonderful. The bed was super comfy, the living room was cozy and the gas fireplace was super lovely. A few minor items - the heat was on 60 degrees when we arrived and there was fine dust on most surfaces - it was clean but seemed it had not been cleaned super recently. The “shampoo” provided is actually a body wash/shampoo combo. We had just been pampered with really nice toiletries at a different Airbnb so we’re probably spoiled, but this was a little disappointing. Overall, it was great and the place is ENORMOUS! Parking is convenient and it is a short and easy one block walk to all the fun of downtown.

We loved our stay here! The condo was exactly as described—stylish, clean, and incredibly well-located. We parked and walked everywhere the whole stay and it was super easy to come and go when we headed out for hikes. The exposed brick and modern touches gave it a great vibe, and the bed and seating were super comfortable. We appreciated all the thoughtful details. Highly recommend for anyone wanting to be in the heart of downtown Asheville. John, Andrew and Ashlie were perfect communicators. Thanks so much!

This place was like new! It was spotless and clutter free. Awesome coffee and tea available. Bed was super comfy. Couch was comfy too! Climate control was awesome. We enjoyed our stay. Would definitely return! Owner was so responsive too! Thankful to have found this place.

Beautiful place and extremely clean and had everything we needed. Right at the end of the strip to be able to walk to everything on Main St. Loved our stay.

We visit GVL 2-3 times a year and love staying here so much that now we won’t stay anywhere else. Truly the best host, best location, and best properties in the area. The condo is central to everything downtown, and is immaculate, cozy, and very safe. Cindy is such a sweet, proactive, and thoughtful host. She makes sure you have everything you need for a great stay, and it’s all the little things like bottled waters, snacks, coffees and teas, creamers—she even left us a special surprise for our anniversary. We’re grateful to have been so well taken care of and once again had a great trip. Where you stay can make or break a trip, and this one absolutely makes it. Thanks Cindy!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Everything was clean, beds were comfortable, and our kids loved the games set out. Hosts were friendly. Being under a pottery studio was a nice bonus, getting to see all the beautiful pottery around the place. The location was great, too. Close to downtown but in a peaceful neighborhood. Would definitely recommend!

This unit is so cute and functional. The view is nice and we loved sitting on the balcony playing games for hours. Super experience!
