Our Curious | Opossum Hollow

Welcome to Opossum Hollow in the quaint mountain town of Travelers Rest! Our partially restored 1984 Airstream Excella, lovingly referred to as `Possum Holler', is situated on the same property as our home. With a covered space for parking and a 35 foot skylight deck, this outdoor space is designed for cool evening lounging and warm afternoon napping. We worked with a number of local artisans to design and create the entire space, ensuring most every element is handmade, upcycled, and recycled!

A Tranquil Place (near downtown Greenville)

A Tranquil Space is conveniently located close to Downtown Greenville. The large suite includes the bedroom, living area, kitchenette (fridge/freezer/convection oven), bathroom, and study/eating area. It is newly renovated area on the end of my home with a private entrance. The space is welcoming and inviting...a perfect space to get away from the hustle. Although minutes from Downtown, the suite feels like you're in the mountains with a private back yard and many trees. Enjoy your stay!

Need a break from the hustle and bustle? Come stay at the "Pretty Nice Place" for a true disconnect. Immerse yourself in nature and spend your days exploring the nearby waterfalls and trails in DuPont State Forest or Caesars Head State Park. This recently-improved cabin is smack dab in the middle of a multitude of recreational opportunities. A cozy get-away just outside of charming Travelers Rest. Located off Hwy 25. Close to both Furman and North Greenville Universities. Come and enjoy the Swamp Rabbit Trail and the surrounding Greenville area. Both Greenville (GSP), and Asheville (AVL), airports are within 45 minutes. You can be in Hendersonville, NC, in 20 minutes, Asheville, in 40. The Cherokee Foothills Scenic Hwy 11 is a few miles down the road. Very peaceful and private setting. Owners are through the woods.
