You will love this location. There is a coral reef right off the dock where you can snorkle and see all the colorful fish. We were able to have the tour companies pick us up for our excursions. We highly reccomend Noè Plantier for 4x4 island tour. Noè grew up on the island and we had an amazing day. Noè can be reached on face book vanilla 4x4 botanical excursions. We also highly recomend Nui with Watercolor fishing. Nui offers fishing excursions as well as water tours around the island.You can find him on face book watercolor sailing. I cant post contact details here but I will on other travel sites. Please note that you will need the host to arrage a taxi from the airport to the grocery store, and then arrange a water taxi to take you to the location. This will cost approx 23,000 xpf each way. Ensure to inquire about what essentials will be required for your stay including toilet paper and soap. The only transport is kyack or bikes if available to access the store.

Thierry est l'hôte rêvé, d'une très grande gentillesse, très précautionneux, attentif et disponible. Il est d'excellents conseils et ses connaissances sont précieuses pour découvrir le lagon et l'île. Le Noha est un endroit EXCEPTIONNEL avec une vue et un environnement magnifiques. Le bungalow où nous avons logé était très agréable et nous nous sommes senties comme chez nous. Nous recommandons fortement le Noha et remercions très chaleureusement Thierry pour son accueil.

This place was just as advertised; we had a great time! If you are looking for a hopping nightlife and the bustle of town, this rental might not be right for you. If you are looking for a beautiful private secluded beach with easy access to kayak to the motu or snorkel the reef right out your front door, then this is the place for you. We had a great time snorkeling, kayaking, visiting the motu, watching the sun set and lightning strike when it was raining, and generally enjoyed the privacy and natural beauty Raiatea has to offer. We rented a car for some of our stay and crused the island to find a short hike here and there and we visited the pearl farm on the other side of the island. I recommend this site without any reservations as long as a quiet get away is your goal.

Nous avons passé un séjour incroyable à Taha’a ! La maison est tout simplement superbe, spacieuse, décorée avec goût et parfaitement située au bord de l’eau. Se réveiller chaque matin face au lagon a été un vrai bonheur. Le cadre est paisible, idéal pour se ressourcer et profiter de la beauté de l’île. L’accueil était chaleureux et tout était parfaitement propre et bien équipé. Nous recommandons cet Airbnb les yeux fermés à tous ceux qui souhaitent vivre une expérience authentique et inoubliable à Taha’a. Un grand merci pour ce merveilleux séjour !

We stayed with Stéphanie for the full time in Raiatea, it was such a beautiful place, interior (nicely decorated) as well as exterior. She cares for her garden (More beautiful than the public botanical garden if you ask me) the steep decent to the house gives you an amazing view of the bay, and you have comfortable furniture on her private small beach to take the view in closely. We went for one of the best kayak trips we had in French Polynesia! Although English isn't her strongest side Stéphanie was informative, helpful and very friendly. We strongly recommend this place - it's a perfect fit to an enjoyable holiday! Be mindful that it gets rather hot in European comparison (the sea brease doesn't pass the apartment and the ceiling fans aren't quite as effective as AC. However, windows and the sliding doors are well-equipped with Mosquito net so you can have it all open 24/7 (Fantastic)

Between the amazing homemade breakfast and use of vehicle and transportation to airport and the beautiful home in the remote private location- this is one of our best stays- we all agreed we would stay again. Sophie and Patrice welcomed us and treated us like family- they should have a special designation beyond super host for this experience- truly amazing! Raitea has so much to do and we could have stayed longer to see more. I will recommend the 3 waterfalls hike for the avid thrill seekers- we highly recommend Kian as a responsible and very good guide- it is required and we realized quickly it was necessary. We saw the Marae - very spiritual place, we dined on the water at Fish and Blue, very beautiful setting for sunset and decorated beyond your imagination- we ate the vanilla sauce at Snack Tanoi for another sunset dinner. If you come to Tahiti make sure to see the island of Raitea too!

Au delà du logement qui correspondait totalement à sa description, Valentin a été un hôte incroyable ! Il nous a même permis de visiter une partie de l’île à bord de son véhicule en nous faisant une visite guidée. Nous recommandons vivement et ne manquerons pas de revenir à notre prochaine visite.
