Nice secluded location. Very reasonably priced and spacious. The host, Dustin, was very nice unto my family and me. He was also very accommodating to us. What Dustin did for my family while we were there has no words. Thanks can never be enough. If you choose Dustin’s house then know that you have an excellent host and you chose a good place to stay.

We had a fantastic time with Chad and Michelle! They were welcoming and we felt at home right away! We were working remote and Michelle and Chad were very flexible in giving us additional space to work. And wow the boat ride they took us on and kayaking were such treats after a long day. Already looking forward to our next stay here :)

We stayed at the East Camptons for 6 days, would definitely come back! It was very clean and had all the amenities we could ask for. The location was perfect, in between NO and Slidell. My husband fished off the docks and used the crab traps. I had coffee on the dock or deck every morning to see the beautiful sunrise. The fish factory next door was somewhat noisy but from previous reviews we were prepared and it didn’t interfere with our time at all. It was interesting to watch the boats coming and going and the birds they attracted. The space under the house doesn’t have the “kitchen” in the pictures but it does have a grill. The king bed was super comfy. Patty and Janet were promptly responsive with a couple of questions I had. Be prepared if there is wind the house sways a bit (felt like when you’re sittingin your car on a bridge) apparently this is normal with a house on pillars. I highly recommend eating at The Palmettos on the Bayou in Slidell, close with a great atmosphere.

Worth every penny. Gorgeous house with gorgeous views! Peaceful place to zen away. The dock for fishing and crabbing was a bonus. So much room to stretch around the house. Will definitely come back.

We had a wonderful stay! The location was perfect for quick trips to Slidell and easy day trips to downtown. We fished non-stop and caught plenty of catfish, along with drum, flounder, and trout! The house had every amenity we needed—and more. We’re already planning our next stay!

I cannot praise John and Karen enough for their hosting of us as guests in their charming home. When weather threatened to upset up my daughter’s wedding departure plans, John and Karen not only saved the day, but made it better than we ever could have imagined by decorating their boat and picking up the newlyweds from Abita Roasting!!! Their kindness and generosity blessed our family greatly! Their home is comfortable and equipped with everything you could need, and it is located close to several wonderful restaurants. I highly recommend this airbnb to anyone looking for a quiet getaway, and I sincerely hope you get to spend some time with John and Karen!! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!

Can't say enough about Pelican Pier Beach House. Spotless, beautifully decorated home with serene views of Lake Catherine. Owner provides many of the necessities and complimentary coffee pods and supplies. We are repeat visitors and would never consider anyplace else because we love it. Great fishing and crabbing. We highly recommend and we will be back.

A lovely home right on the water. I was worried about stayng in a home on a “highway” with a dog but the road was quiet and we felt safe with the doggie outside (on a leash!) Fishing off the dock was not successful but we did a charter and had great luck! We loved our day trips into NOLA too! Loved it!

A super clean and relaxing Airbnb.

This was my family's favorite air bnb ever. Everything was so nice and clean. The property was absolutely gorgeous and our hosts were very responsive and went above and beyond on making us feel welcome. We are already talking about going back!

This house was perfect for our family. Lots of space inside and outside. They had a stocked kitchen with everything we needed.

The Cottage was absolutely fantastic! The place was incredibly clean and well-equipped, and the location was perfect. My kids loved the lake. We would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting!

The Birdhouse was the perfect getaway from the city. We had a great time playing in the creek and exploring the trails. Listening to the frogs and wildlife come to life at night was one of the highlights of our trip. We didn’t want to leave and were planning our next trip.

The Millers had an amazing experience at Sunhillow Farm Getaway. The host, cabin and beautiful property exceeded our expectations. We was impressed by all the amenities, quality, provisions and attention to details that made our stay welcoming, comfortable, relaxing and so peaceful and quiet …perfect home away from home getaway. We had an amazing visit. Very secluded and private. Cabin was clean, cute, and roomy, but also cozy. Outdoor areas were beautiful and relaxing.

We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. Will's house was beautiful, private and comfortable. one of the nicest ABBs that we have stayed in. Less than an hour from New Orleans and lots to see in between. We HIGHLY recommend it.

Staying at David's property is a fantastic choice for anyone looking to relax and enjoy time with family. Traveling from Brandon, Florida, to Bogalusa, Louisiana, is a big change, but it’s definitely worth it. The property is very family-friendly, with something for everyone—from toddlers to young adults—and plenty of room for adults to unwind, socialize, or even get some work done. I highly recommend David's place; both the staff and other guests are friendly, respectful, and helpful.
