Kingfisher Camp is a romantic hideaway set in the dimple of a hillside of a small farm in the foothills of the Black Mountains. The hut is available for anyone who is content to cuddle up by candlelight and light the woodburning stove to get cosy, or spend a night out by the fire, cooking food and star gazing. The cottage is located just out of the centre of Hay opposite the beautiful St Mary's Church. It is slightly quieter here than in the heart of the town but is still only a 5 minute walk into the centre. It is very easy to access the river walks, simply taking the path to the right of the church. The cottage is full of character with wooden beams, a wood-burning stove, the original fireplace in the bedroom, wooden flooring throughout the downstairs, and a beautiful south-facing garden.

The cabin is the perfect place to come for a couples getaway. It is totally self-contained, has ample off-road parking and also has its own completely private, south-facing garden with a tranquil view looking out onto the village church.

We are in an excellent position for site seeing, walking and cycling, our local hotel is well known for salmon and course fishing along with good food there's also a number of country inns who serve food within a 10 minute drive for those who prefer not to cook. The county town of Hereford is 12 miles and the famous town of books Hay on Wye is 8 miles
