The Garden Room is a private, cosy, off-grid apartment that's perfect for couples in search of a quiet break or looking to explore the area. It has basic kitchen facilities along with a king size bed, a wood burning stove and a piping hot shower. We have reliable wifi, no tv and an ok mobile signal. Lovely up here this time of year and plenty of wildlife to be seen; deer in the garden, swallows zooming about, the other morning I saw two hares leaping and sparring in the front yard - just great.

Originating in 1340, this cosy 1-bed Townhouse is on the river Severn , in the loop of the town and a short walk to the station and theatre. Our lodge lies in a sheltered spot above the bank of the Darnford Brook as it gently meanders along the Shropshire Way. The private garden connects with the footpath leading straight up onto the Long Mynd where you can explore the 5000 acre National Trust AONB, including the Jack Mytton Way and Offas Dyke. Alternatively, follow the byway as it makes its way towards the Stiperstones. The well maintained paths, bridleways and mountain bike trails offer fabulous opportunities for exploring.

Geodesic Dome with wood-fired hot tub in the heart of Shropshire countryside. Situated in a 3 acre paddock on our family small holding. Getting around we would suggest you have a car or bike as there is no public transport or cabs. Please note we are a working farm so you will see and hear tractors during your stay. Our family are also keen equestrians so you will also see horses. There is also a Glamping Cabin in the field so you may see other guests during your stay.
