The space is accessed via a couple of steps with the open plan living area all on ground level consisting of a king size bed with luxury linen. The kitchen has an oven, hob, fridge, microwave and coffee m, Sofa bed and dining table. The lodge is surrounded by the fabulous Shropshire hills, a mile to the nearest pub yet just 10-15 minute away from the centre of Shrewsbury. There is a private seating area outside the front of the lodge and access to the pony paddocks if you have a dog that needs a run! It includes double bed, en suite shower room, and for romantic evenings why not light the little hobbit stove. Adjacent to the hut is a charming boathouse, which houses the self catering facilities. Our boathouse opens up to appreciate the views & great outdoors or can be closed up for cosy times by the log burner. Check in is from 4pm Check out is 10.30am

A romantic historic tower for 2

The Summerhouse Tower is a very special holiday-home-for-two set within the rolling Shropshire countryside. A Grade II listed tower, this unique, romantic retreat enjoys excellent views to the east, and views of the Shropshire Hills to the south and the west. The Tower, built circa 1607, was originally used as a banqueting house for entertaining dinner guests. Whilst the main house was destroyed by a fire, The Summer House is available for cosy stays throughout the year.
