Lovely place. We were two couples who stayed in the Annex for a night. We were blessed with super weather so we saw it at its best, with lovely countryside views and the opportunity to eat our breakfast outside. The two separate rooms, each with en-suite and each with a small kitchen area suited us perfectly. The beds were comfortable, everything was super clean and there was plenty of space to park. A great spot a couple of miles from Malmesbury.

Hannah and George were super helpful, the house was characterful and has all that you need. It was lovely as a family reunion as there was plenty of space, and access to a garden and the toys was so appreciated.

Alan & Phyl’s property was comfortable and the location was in easy access of shops and restaurants/pubs. Friendly hosts who were very welcoming of my late check-in. Highly recommended.

Very easy to check in, clear instructions given and an extremely friendly welcome. Neighbourhood is peaceful, accessible and within walking distance of the local town. Living space is great for a quick stopover as it has everything you’d need. Host was very hospitable, gave us local recommendations and made us feel right at home. Definitely good value if you’re passing by.

This place is in a great location, just a few minutes walk from anywhere in town. Best of all, it has parking, which I'd say is a must. The breakfast fare was beyond expectation with great bread, yogurt, fruit and no shortage of coffee pods and teas. We'd book again in the blink of an eye if we ever visit Sidmouth again. It was great, we were sorry not to meet the hosts!

Jess was super friendly and helpful, and it was an ideal spot for getting about in Bristol, had everything we needed for our trip.

It was a pleasure to stay with Beth. The place was beautiful and exceptionally well-kept. The best part was the location where you wake up inside a lovely rustic building surrounded by a beautiful farm. When we get a chance to go to the Cotswolds, we will go back there again. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for calm after a day of exploring the Cotswolds and Bath.

What a fantastic visit! Rachael and Ian couldn't have made us more welcome and their were so many lovely touches, from the continental breakfast, to the beautiful flowers in the room, and comfy bed. Loved our Easter eggs on Easter Sunday too! An outstanding stay. thank you!

we had an amazing stay at Larkswood Annex . It was fabulous, so clean and we had everything we needed plus more . we got there early and Adele was able to let us check in early as her other guests had left early . we loved the area , shops nearby and bus stops . Adele and hubby really welcoming and friendly thank you so much

This is, I think, the fourth time I have stayed here, which indicates a strong recommendation! The accommodation is very well planned and comfortable, and makes the absolute most of the available space. It is close to a fairly busy road so, if you are a light sleeper, I suggest earplugs which work very well for me!

Such a lovely space. Clean and well designed with a beautiful outlook across to the sea. Nikki was really accommodating and responsive. Check-in was very straightforward. Would definitely stay again.

Amazing place to stay if you want to explore Bath. Sarah greets you and is so friendly and informative and makes you feel right at home, shows you how everything works and where things are, everything was spotless and clean, bed is very comfortable. Breakfast was supplied, muesli, crumpets, bacon, eggs, bread, hot cross buns to name a few things, we were very spoilt for choice. Gated driveway and a space right outside the front door for your car which was priceless for us, parked the car up and didn’t use it again until we left, walking everywhere and using the odd Uber. We made use of the private garden and comfy garden furniture in the evenings after a full day of exploring as the view is fantastic over Bath from there. If we visit Bath again we would definitely book with Sarah 😀

Great location with off street parking. Reliable bus services into both Poole and Bournemouth. The little apartment was well laid out with everything you might need for a short stay. I especially liked there was plenty of space and hangers to hang clothes. Ample fridge space and good cooking facilities. Really comfy bed. Vinny was an excellent host, he was super responsive to all comms via Airbnb and made our stay so easy and relaxing. Check in was a doddle with Vinny's detailed instructions. Will definitely be back next time we visit Bournemouth. Thank you Vinny!

Such a lovely place to stay and to return to at the end of my busy days. Tina and Steve are so friendly and welcoming, the accommodation is immaculate and extremely comfortable with everything provided. The garden is delightful and I enjoyed my chats with Tina about her plants Nearby there is a wonderful plant nursery with such an array of plants. 100% better than regular garden centres and the lovely cafe provided me with delicious lunches each day. Looking forward to returning soon.

Very friendly hosts. Everything clean, cosy and homely. Attention to detail leaving essentials and a lot of nice extra goodies. Would stay again if allowed.

Great beds, wonderful bathroom. Quite well equipped. Very useful hotplate for cooking simple meals if you don't want to to spend money eating out. I would recommend, if you are a light sleeper, that you bring earplugs for the occasional night travelling HGV that goes passed on the A38 - but you can't hear the traffic from the M5. If we were coming to the area again we would not hesitate to stay there again.

Nick and Sofia were amazing hosts, they should give lessons on how to provide Airbnb's. The accomodation was lovely, clean with all you need and more to ensure you have an amazing stay. It's ideally located and a good place to base yourself so that you can visit the many local towns and tourists attractions. We Would highly recommend staying there and will definitely be making another booking the next time we visit the area.

Beautiful place! So homly, comfortable and clean. My daughter and I were staying - such a spacious place. Accomodation is well equiped too - kitchen and bathroom. The washing machine with a 6 year old was a bonus and plenty of storage. Location wise - prime spot if your driving to surrounding areas, i cant comment for walking. Although we did venture 15 minutes down the road and you end up in a harbour with shipwrecks (fp12) so that was cool. Highly recommend!

What a beautiful place to stay. The accommodation was clean, well-equipped and had everything that we needed. The cottage itself was beautifully presented, we loved the hot tub and - like many reviews before - the shower was one of the best we’d ever had! Lyme Regis is a 25 minute walk away, which was very manageable. The local pub, the Talbot Arms, is a mere 3 minute walk away. The food was fantastic, staff were friendly and they had a great pool table! Would recommend a fishing trip with Blue Turtle Charters and a trip to Pebblebed Vineyards for a tour. Sarah was responsive and gave lots of useful recommendations for the local area.

Nous avons adoré notre court séjour d’une nuitée. Tout était impeccablement parfait! Nous sommes allés prendre une marche en ville (tout à 10-15 minutes de marche) après avoir fait une petite lessive. Shaftesbury est une petite ville magnifique. Nous sommes revenus nous faire à souper, tout le nécessaire pour la cuisson et la confection y était. La nuit a été très paisible et le lit très confortable. Merci Christine et Rob!

Wonderful base from which to explore this beautiful part of the world. Comfortably fitted out with everything I needed. The annexe is surrounded by garden and it was lovely to wake up to the sound of birds and the elements. It’s a short walk down the hill into the picture pretty village, with the village shop very well stocked for basic provisions and the pub and Otterton Mill for meals out. There were great suggestions for scenic local walks to Budleigh Salterton, Bicton Gardens and along the River Otter, which I tried out. I had total privacy during my stay but it was great to know Jackie and family were next door in case of emergency as I was travelling alone.

Lizi was a fantastic host. Went the extra mile with helping us decorate the place for a surprise birthday visit. Nothing was too much hassle and made us feel really welcome. Would definitely recommend this place if you want a relaxing stay near all the local amenities.

If you need a home away from home , quiet and private surrounding , this is the place to be. Clean spotless Annex and amenities/city centre within 6min drive radius. Think of anything that you could be missing on a journey this place had it tucked away from within and easy to find if you read the welcome sheet. As you ponder about where to have a quick breakfast from in a new environment, Jacqui got you sorted!! More so of a mini hotel👌 even the simple things like; sugar, cereal, milk, sauces in the fridge mattered . Thank you Jacqui , I look forward to my next visit .
