The Happy Red Cabin

I'm a small cabin located in a wonderful setting with other houses on gravel roads. My owners put their hearts and souls into my creation. I have 2 BR's & BR's, great room, kitchen, W/D, 2 porches, patio and a fire pit. Located 2.5 miles from Saluda, NC - a delightful small WNC town. I'm up the hill from a small private lake *as of summer '25 - lake temporarily drained for long term repairs* NO WI-FI, weak cell. Guest pass for lake property provided. NO PETS or SMOKING - strict policy.

Perfect for a romantic or solo getaway, a sight-seeing trip, or just passing through! This 350 square foot tiny home feels spacious and is convenient with the one story floor plan, high ceilings, natural light, and basic amenities for your stay. Wifi is now available (but no TV), or this is a perfect place to unplug in a peaceful setting and enjoy the beautiful farm! Just a few minute drive from Tryon and Landrum for dining/ shopping, and plenty to do in the area or just relax on the farm!

THE RED ROOSTER HOUSE - walk 200 feet to Main St.

The Red Rooster House is located at 52 Church St. in the Historic / Commercial district of downtown Saluda. With a short walk of 200 feet, you'll be on Main Street. We welcome non-smokers, guests without children, guests over 25 and guests traveling without pets. Our totally ground level apartment provides easy accessibility. Your private parking space is directly in front of the courtyard entrance. The host lives on the premises and will assist guests at any time.

Our cozy cottage is just steps from Judds Peak and 2 miles from downtown, where there is always food and fun! The Gorge Zipline is located in our quaint little town and the Green River has hiking, tubing, kayaking, white water rafting, rock climbing! The towns of Hendersonville, Flat Rock and Asheville are just minutes away.

Cozy one bedroom log cabin with large private back deck and hot tub. While being surrounded by nature can be an enjoyable and a relaxing break from hectic day to day lifestyles, please realize that this cabin is in the woods and we do have carpenter bees and camel crickets along with some ants. We strive to keep the pests at bay but they are part of mountain life. Shared spaces include the fire pit along with the overlook bench.
