Rich's place is beautiful. So charming, well-maintained and obviously loved by him. I had some travel delays and he kindly stayed up pretty late to make sure I got a key. His place reminds me of the one friend everyone has who makes you ask, "where did you get THAT?" when you visit their house. Great location, lots of information in the room about Baltimore and things to see and do. Even his towels were orange and grey, for the Orioles! (I was there specifically to visit Camden Yards). Highly recommend this place!

Rich went overboard to greet us personally at midnight when our ride finally dropped us off at his door. His home is a wonderful Baltimore Row House and beautifully restored. We cannot imagine a more gracious host.

I stumbled upon this place after searching through listings for full homes. I reserved the place thinking it was a full home, but after reading other reviews, I opted to keep the reservation as all the reviews were great. We have used Air b&b in many cities and different countries. Along the way, have been very fortunate with our selections and have very high expectations. The communication was great initially after booking, however after I mentioned wanting to cancel my reservation (upon realizing it was just a room), the communication with Rich appeared to slow down significantly. Specifically, I did not receive any responses to my email messages. Upon arrival, Rich was available and welcomed us to his home. Everything was as described and the unique decor really communicated our host's fine artistic tastes. We hardly saw or heard Rich throughout our stay. He left us complementary mint on the nightstand and the password for the wifi. When we arrived to our room, there was an undergarment that appeared to belong to the previous guests dropped behind the ottoman, which told us the room was not thoroughly cleaned and prepared for our stay. The bathroom was also was not cleaned as thoroughly as we hoped. There were stains on the bathroom floor (initially looked like blood and later discovered it was leakage from the skylight/vent). Rich took care of all of these concerns after they were brought up to him. Overall, the location of this place seems prime for those looking to check out the city for brief periods of time, but the cleanliness and lack of welcoming contact from the host was a little disappointing.

Rich was a really great host. He helped us out and was very willing to talk with us and offer advice. He let us bring our dog too. The neighborhood was great, easily walkable and a nice park across the street. The listing was better than expected. I would definitely stay here again and recommend Rich and his rowhome.

Rich has an amazing home. My girlfriend and I spent the night before my flight out the following day. The row house is gorgeous inside. Rich keeps the place in great order for his guests. We were able to walk right down to the local Federal Hill sports bar to watch the Football game and then walk a little further to the harbor. The location is terrific. I look forward to my next stay!

My stay at Neali's was great. Neali is a wonderful hostess and a joy to talk to. Her place is cute, charming, super clean, and comfortable. The room is well lit, spacious, has tons of electrical outlets and a window mounted air-conditioning unit. There is a whole foods just three blocks away, which is perfect for grabbing the essentials and some snacks, and the inner harbor is only a short car ride away.

Neali provided a very warm and loving welcome into her home. The home is set to allow you to flow into a state of tranquility if you choose too. I love how she is very knowledgeable about the historic area, water front, and how she shares that knowledge with her guest. One of the benefits in staying at Neali's home, it is in close proximity to a variety of stores, specifically wholefood, and restaurants. I am so appreciative of Neali's willingness to accommodate my last minute request of needing a place to stay while in town. Not only was the room even better than I expected, but I loved her hospitality and is a wonderful conversationist. I even had the immense pleasure of meeting a few of her friends during my stay and will say that was one of my favorite moments of my entire trip. My face hurt from smiling so much around them. The room was private and perfect. It had everything I needed. The location was close to many wonderful restaurants and walkable to the waterfront. Spend 1-2 days in Baltimore and this was a wonderful spot to get a first impression of the city. The apartment is very close to nice bars and the docks. It was easy to reach from the BWI airport via light rail and little walk. Neali was a very nice and accommodating host. She definitely shaped my first impressions of the US as a welcoming country. This house is comfortable and colourful and Neali does everything to make you feel at home and at ease. She offered great recommendations about restaurants, cafes and shops nearby. And there are plenty! This house is perfectly located, next to fabulous places to eat, and walking distance to the harbour. And you can walk to the convention centre in 15-20 minutes! I did it every morning! Neali's place offers the perfect mix of privacy, friendliness and accessibility. You're gonna love it!

This place was my first AirBnB experience and I couldn't have been happier about picking this place. Went down for an Orioles game and was only 5 minutes away (walking ) from Camden Yards! Patrick was very polite and a great host. Very easy to communicate with and respectful. The pics don't do this room justice. The area is much bigger than expected and includes a nice walk out porch! All amenities are easy to get to as well. Used Uber from the Inner Harbor and it was only $9! Can't argue with that! This place is well worth it.

I was in Baltimore for two days. Ashish and Varsha graciously invited me into their home, making me feel most comfortable. Prior visits to Baltimore have been as a tourist or attending a conference. This time was for medical reasons. I welcomed the quiet time to relax and read. The room was clean and quite comfortable (especially the bed) with adequate closet space for hanging clothes and a good Wi-Fi signal. I was also appreciative that the bathroom is located next door to the room. I was able to come and go without disturbing anyone Equally important is that it is a 10-15 minute walk to the Baltimore Harbor or to Johns Hopkins Hospital. There is also public transportation less than a block away. Even though I was there for medical reasons, my stay in Baltimore was made easier because of Ashish and Varsha.

This was a treat - all my AirBnB experiences so far have been with solo or couple adult hosts. This time, there was a tiny human wearing a Captain Adorable onesie who was part of the welcoming committee, and he was truth in advertising on the hoof. We even watched cartoons together for a while. The room was very comfortable, and even though the house is in the middle of the city, it was quiet and restful for a great night's sleep. I'd happily stay here again, great hosts, and another visit with Captain Adorable would be ... adorable.

Ashish and Varcha were the best host. ashish picked me up at the Airport with Varcha, and then They took me for a ride around the city. They were always available for help me as needed and behaved as my family in Baltimore. The room was spacious and private, bathroom Annex, with everithing that I could need. During the blizzard I did not have any problem with power and the WiFi has a very good signal and scoope. I'm very happy with my stay.

Ashish is a very good host and has a very nice room set up for guests with a private bathroom. If you travel in the winter, make use of the space heater as it is drafty. It is no issue with the heater on though. When I arrived I was somewhat concerned with the location and having my car out, but it was okay.

Wow! Jeannette was great. My housing fell through after a 25 hour drive from Texas to Baltimore. I was exhausted and she helped in a tight spot. Not only did she give me a place to stay for the night but she allowed me to use her computer to work out my housing situation permanently. She called a a airBNB host to see if she could get a me a place to stay. She educated me on places that were unsafe in the city and made picking my permanent housing much easier. Jeannetter even feed me. She was a godsend. I would recommend her to anyone. Oooh and the room was great too! It was just as it was described in the pictures if not larger. The bathroom was nice as well. And the area of town was great. I felt completely safe and its within walking distance of Fell's point.

Jeannette made us feel welcome and comfortable. The room was just as she described it and looked the same as the pictures. The neighbor hood seemed okay. It is much different then living in the country like we do. We had someone who lived down there taking us places but I know if we had needed her help in finding places she would have helped us. She was very helpful with the uber information and putting the app on my phone.

Jeannette is a wonderful host, and the room is just like it is advertised. For those of you that a light sleepers, make sure you have a white noise app on your phone, as you will have to deal with street noise. But certainly a steal when compared to hotel prices!

We enjoyed our stay here! The apartment had more space and amenities than a hotel room for much less cost. Having a kitchen with a full-sized fridge and dishwasher was convenient, and we appreciated the free washer and dryer. The exposed brick in the bedroom is a nice touch. The bathroom was a good size and we appreciated all the storage room for our toiletries. Towels were clean--the host provided two towels and two pillows (as well as bed linens). We never heard any noise from the other units, and stairways and hallways were clean and pleasant. We used David's parking lot for an additional fee. There was never a problem finding a spot in the lot, and even though our car was full of stuff (we were moving) it was never tampered with. The parking spot was a few blocks from the apartment. A few things to keep in mind if you're planning a stay here: --In our unit the AC unit was about as effective as a fan on high. It blew cool air, but not COLD air. Because it wasn't located in the bedroom, at night we were sometimes too hot to sleep comfortably. --The bottom of the shower has some mold/mildew, so I preferred to wear flip flops when showering. --The bedroom door doesn't close, due to the size of the bed. This wasn't a problem for us, as it was just the two of us.

Nice space in a great neighborhood for a very reasonable price. David was very communicative and helpful with making arrangements including parking. Only complaint is that the water in the shower takes a very long time to get warm, and never got totally hot, but overall a fine experience and would not hesitate to recommend.

We took the train into Baltimore from D.C. and this was a great spot to spend the night. Very close to restaurants and public transportation. It's a hike but we even walked to Camden Yards and the Inner Harbor. I would definitely stay there again.

David was very nice and easy to work with. I would definitely stay in one of his properties again. I'm giving four stars rather than five because the apartment was pretty basic and was not ideal for two people. The bedroom is small and was a bit tight for two people. The kitchen area is large, but there's nowhere for two people to sit down and eat (we had a snack standing up next to the counter; I'm not sure what we would have done if we had actually wanted to eat a meal there). Also, there was no hair dryer (which is tough in the winter for those of us with reasonably long hair). I would probably not stay in this unit again, unless I was by myself and not planning to eat there, but I would definitely stay in another unit in this building. David was great, and the location was exactly what we were looking for.

David was an absolute wonderful host, and his accommodations were great. Not only did he respond to every inquiry in short order, but the apartment in which we stayed was clean, exactly as described, and comfortable (the bed was REALLY comfortable.) I would definitely stay here on my next trip to Baltimore, and you should too!

Amazing amenities walking distance from Fells Point.

Dan's apartment was well furnished, clean and comfortable. Also close to restaurants and fun things to do...very convenient!

This apartment is perfect if you want a central location to explore Fell's Point, Harbour East or Fed Hill. We were able to walk to Pier 5, Camden Yard and M & T Stadium also. You don't need a car at all because it is so walkable but there is 2 hour parking in front or free parking right down the road in Fell's Point. You can easily walk to the waterfront and jump on the water taxi or walk around the Harbour. Tons of great restaurants, bars and shops right out your door. Also, make sure to give the 1st floor coffee shop a try - you won't be disappointed! The apartment is clean, open, well stocked and the art makes for such a unique experience! Dan was helpful and responsive with all requests - we will definitely stay here again if we come back to Baltimore!

Location, location, location! We absolutely loved our stay at Dan's, it's so close and easy to walk to everything, from restaurants to museums. If you're staying in on a Saturday night it can be a bit noisy in the living room because it's on the street but the bedroom is in the back of the apartment so it's nice and quiet! I can't say enough how perfect the apartment was, we will definitely be staying at Dan's again!

This a great location, central to everything in Fells Point, and within walking distance to Harbor East and the Inner Harbor. This third-floor apartment was super clean, modern and eclectic (as advertised) - I really enjoyed that the bedroom was quiet and away from a lot of the street hullabaloo. The bed was extremely comfortable too. Highly recommended!

The location is great. I would consider it a very well priced stay. Easily walk to many parts of Fells Point, or to place that can get you anywhere else in the city. They obviously care about your well being and want you to have a rest stay. They have printed out some cool spots for you to visit. We were having a problem with the futon and I guess they heard us struggling and came down to give us a hand - thanks! Only complaints we had were these: The floor was pretty dirty. I think this has to do with some construction that they've got going on in the adjacent areas. There were a couple small cleanliness issues other than that, but nothing that I personally found too concerning. The water in the shower didn't get very hot, but this is me nitpicking. I did not care enough to say anything at the time, just an afterthought. Overall, I would definitely recommend this spot if you are looking for an easy to access crash pad while visiting beautiful Baltimore.

Jay and Olivia's place is a great bargain, considering the neighborhood and amenities. It's a quick 5-minute uber to downtown Baltimore, or a 10-minute walk to Fell's Point. The space itself is newly renovated and has lots of small amenities, including keypad entry, new bathroom, couch, TV, microwave, coffee maker, mini-fridge, etc. Jay and Olivia are very welcoming and offered some good recommendations on restaurants and bars in the area - - will definitely try to book this spot again if I'm in Baltimore!

I didn't have much face-to-face interaction with Becca, but she helped me over the phone navigate the front door lock at night and during an absolute downpour, which was utterly life-saving. Staying with Becca was such an amazing experience. Her home is beautiful and she is so inviting, friendly, down to Earth and kind. Not to mention she lives in a really great part of the city and is open to giving awesome suggestions for things to do based upon your interests.

After being on the road for a month and countless Airbnb's, Becca and Geoffrey's place wins as my absolute favourite! Not only did I have a ton of fun talking to them but, they made me feel right at home. Their dog and cat are super cute, but don't worry, if you're not a pet person, they won't bother you either. The neighborhood felt really safe even at night and the house even more so! Plus, it's just a 5-10min walk from the main pier on the waterfront. The room is awesome. It's up on the third floor and gives you a ton of privacy. It's beautiful with the exposed brick walls and homey. I really felt right at home in that space. (Plus, Becca had left a chocolate!) Please, if you stay here, show this home and hosts (including pets) the utmost respect! Both while you are there and before, by reading through the instructions. They are really simple but, I know a lot of ppl ignore them during booking. You'll be lucky to be staying in this space and with amazing people!

Great, home feeling place that is located in a great area near all the attractions at the harbor. Jeanne-Marie was the sweetest woman who responded very quickly made sure we felt right at home. Also Maestro the cat is the nicest cat I've ever met, I would definitely stay here again.

Jeanne-Marie accommodated us last minute. We had no complaints: bed was perfect and place was clean. The location is in a nice and safe neighborhood of the city.

This was a real find for me! I arrived to Baltimore for a conference and could not have been treated better by the hosts. They welcomed me as a friend and invited me to hang out with their friends. It made the whole experience worth while. I would highly recommend!

This was a very convenient stay. The apartment was as described and the host (only interacted with Evan) was very friendly and also provided some great recommendations in the neighborhood. If you are looked to rent a room in an apt this is a great option.

Susanne is great! Apartment is great! Location is great! I would definitely stay here again. Quiet neighborhood and quiet building.

George was a great host. A very cozy and quaint house. George was very inviting and eager to help me get to know the city. He provided maps and even let me know of bands and events going on. Very polite, outgoing and curious. If you are elderly or have difficulty walking, it may be hard for you to navigate the stairs. The location is perfect, walking distance to everything. Little Italy, inner harbor and Camden yards. I will definitely look to stay here again if I'm ever in the area.

Unfortunately I did not meet George. The housesitter was fine. The location was close to the harbor although it was suggested at night to take uber from the harbor. I was there 4 nights and busy with days of wedding festivities so it worked out fine. Reasonable price and room is great for one person.

We had a great stay at George's. Awesome location only a short walk away from tons of restaurants and bars. George was super friendly, easy to get in contact with, and had plenty of great recommendations for us. Definitely a great place to stay if you're traveling to Baltimore and want a conveniently located and clean place to stay.

George's row house is a pleasure and a gem and George has created a warm, efficient and thoughtful space for the traveler, perfectly appointed and extremely easy to access, in a charming neighborhood but not far from downtown. He an extremely accomplished host, warm and present when needed but able to provide space and quiet too. He went out of his way to make my stay work for me, both professionally and in terms of options for getting at least a taste of Fells Point and the interesting city that is Baltimore. It is a plus that his house would repay study as a perfectly realized historical restoration, without being at all stuffy or a "period piece." Any architects or designers out there? Come and learn.

Notre séjour a été très court et, malheureusement, on n'a pas eu à rencontrer George mais nous avons adoré notre séjour de toute façon! L'endroit est magnifique (a aimé l'art et la décoration) et il est vraiment pratique et à proximité à pied de restaurants et bars.

George était l'hôte consommé, et j'ai eu un très bon séjour. La maison est vraiment fantastique meublé (j'ai adoré l'art sur les murs), et George est très accueillant en laissant vous vous sentez vraiment à l'aise dans les espaces de vie et la cuisine. George lui-même est un plaisir, et j'ai eu beaucoup de grandes conversations avec lui. Plus qu'heureux de recommander fortement.

George was a very communicative and welcoming host. The room is lovely, and the area is wonderful.

Good place for taking in the city. It was close to everything. The decor was nice and modern. All fixures were new. I was staying for business so this place didn't meet my basic business needs. It didn't have a place for me to hang my clothes or hangers. No iron but I brought my own. Mary was very helpful and responsive to my emails and questions.

Great place, good location, very clean and Mary was very nice. I'd stay there again if I return to Baltimore.
