A charming self contained cottage in quiet rural surroundings 20 minutes from Canberra and 5 from Queanbeyan. One night stays are accepted during the week but a 2 night minimum applies on Friday and Sat. An open plan cottage with a queen bed, king single and a single trundle. Cottage amenities include; all necessary linen, a well appointed kitchen and bathroom, BBQ and all the usual items such as TV, DVD, iron etc and undercover parking. Pets are welcome @$20/pet/nt payable after arrival.

Monga Mountain Retreat

A bright, spacious timber cabin, on a beautiful 11acre off-grid property, nestled in the pristine Monga National Park. The private cabin is set apart from the main house on a quiet property, only 16min to the lively town of Braidwood. It sits beside the Jembaicumbene Creek, is surrounded forest and full of native wildlife, birds and untouched bush. There are trails to hike through the rainforest, where you have the chance to see wombats, echidnas & if you're lucky the spectacular lyrebird.

We celebrate four seasons & the interior provides comfort no matter the weather! You'll see plenty of Aussie wildlife too. The original stables at historic Longsight have been lovingly restored and converted to luxury boutique accommodation. Many of the original features have been preserved such as the exposed wood rafters, weatherboards, iron roof and facade. Even the original saddle racks remain in the bathroom and old framing timber has been repurposed into a beautiful kitchen island. Perfect for couples or families looking for a relaxing country getaway.
