Castle Neuvillette World War I

The property is a chateau, in other words a castle, built in the early 18th century. Over the last decade it has been completely renovated; most recent renovation in the summer of 2017: new carpet in the bedrooms and the hallways on 1st and 2nd floor. The chateau is very comfortable and has 7 bedrooms and 3 bath rooms and accomodates 12 people. There is a cosy kitchen with a French Lacanche oven, a living room and a dining room. There is a large fire place in the living room and wooden pannelings in most rooms. A garage has room for 2 cars and there is a newly built summer kitchen with a large BBQ fire place. There is a small house next to the chateau, which accomodates 4 people and can be rented separately. The walls of this house have inscriptions from WW I and WW II, both from Allied Forces and Germans. The area is quite and rural. You need a car to get around. There are a number of chateaux in the area to visit. Our property is half an hour from Amiens by car. Amiens is famous for its cathedral and interesting museums. From Amiens it takes 60 minutes by train to get to Paris, Gare Du Nord, so day trips to Paris are easy to make. About 10 minutes drive (by car) from the chateau there is the lovely village of Doullens with several supermarkets, boucheries, boulangeries and other shops. Within half an hour drive you will find the battle fields of World War I, with several interesting museums and memorials. They are really worth a visit. Many British, Americans, Canadians and Australians come to visit the graves of their ancestors who lost their lives during WW I. The house is the place to stay for ANZAC week. The La Manche beaches are 1 hour and 15 minutes by car. The house is ideal for a vacation. And it is often used by people who invite their European friends to come over and spend some time together.

One Wing (East or West) of Chateau PLUS Cottage

This breathtaking Normandy rustic country Chateau is 15 mins to the sea + 1.5 hrs to Calais. The West Wing + Cottage are fully self-contained with their own entrances + together have 7 bedrooms, 5 bathrooms, 2 fully equipped kitchens, 2 lounges, dining room with seating for up to 16, 2 outdoor private dining terraces with barbecues + 5 acres of beautiful grounds with outdoor heated pool (in season) shared with the property's East Wing. Sleeps up to 16 people. For bigger groups add the East Wing!

Du charme près mer, forêt, commerces, Naussicaa

Le logement est situé à l'etage d'une dépendance du château. Vous avez vue sur les paddocks ( petite pâture pour les chevaux ), un extérieur au rdc avec petit salon et tables pour déjeuner et bbq. Vous pouvez vous promener librement dans toute la propriété. Et voir ainsi les juments avec leur poulain et les yearlings. Différentes plages à proximité ( sauvages ou animées, à vous de choisir) et des forêts aussi ( Baincthun, Hardelot, La Capelle). Des ports : Boulogne sur mer, Etaples)

Château d'Humières - Casa Clementine

Casa Clementine is one of two houses in the grounds of the Chateau / Castle. A 240 year old building newly renovated for summer 2023, it offers 3 double bedrooms and an attic room that sleeps 8, ideal for families or groups who want a fantastic space in a peaceful setting. Enjoy a BBQ in the chateau courtyard in summer and the huge open fire in winter. The house offers around 250m2 of space and guests are welcome to walk and play in the grounds at the front of the chateau.

Nos chambres d'hôtes et notre gîte sont situées dans un domaine historique du XVIII siècle, au coeur d'un parc de 12 ha boisé d'arbres séculaires, proche de la Baie de Somme. Dans cette chambre nous acceptons les chiens de taille moyene et petit avec une participation de 5 €/ nuits A 3 Km des plages d'Ault/Onival et Mers Les Bains, à 20' de la Baie de Somme et de Saint Valery sur Somme..
