Comfortable sofa seating area, converts to pull out double bed if you don't fancy the ladder! Small well appointed kitchen with dual microwave oven, fridge, toaster, variety of pots and pans with tableware etc. Shower room and toilet, towels provided. Wifi, TV, DAB, central heating. Beautifully converted in 2021 - with slate/wooden floors with underfloor heating, wood-burning stove, bathroom with roll-top bath and walk-in shower, and a separate fully-equipped galley-kitchen. The studio has its own front door, with its own parking space right outside. Ideal for couples, we welcome family pets too.

Welcome to the Maple Room, a private en suite guest unit in our family home. The room has its own private entrance, it is completely self contained and comprises of an entry room and an en suite bedroom. We are in the beautiful medieval "river and market" town of Totnes, home to many independent shops and eateries, close to beaches, Dartmoor and many walking and hiking trails. Our house is on a hill overlooking the town, with gorgeous views, and the high street is a 10/15 minute walk away.

Located on the edge of the pretty village of Landscove, just east of Dartmoor National Park, with a brilliant local pub and tearooms within walking distance and stunning rivers, beaches and historic towns nearby, it has everything you need to relax and recharge.

Higher Brook Shepherd's Hut

Our newly built Shepherd's Hut is self-contained in its own plot at the end of our back garden with direct, private access down a path alongside our property. The hut lies on the fringes of Totnes, in a secluded location with views across fields towards Haytor. A welcome breakfast of bread and cereals is provided on arrival, with tea and coffee available. We are always available should you need tips on where to go or can leave you to discover and enjoy this area entirely on your own.

The self-contained cabin has a south-facing decking so you can sit with your morning coffee (fresh Italian coffee supplied!) and let the day begin. Only 10mins walk from town centre. Cabin has a modern heating system and is cosy all year round due to the quality insulation. We supply tea, oat milk and sunshine (when available in Devon 🙂). Bedding, towels & kitchen equipment is also supplied. There’s a perfect littlel kitchen area with all you need, bathroom and reliable wifi.

Ruby Retreat Shepherd’s Hut in Devon

Ruby Retreat is a unique Shepherd's Hut hand built in larch, cedar and ash by local carpenter, Peter Milner. His skilled design and craftsmanship gives Ruby a very special feeling. She is brand new for 2023. She sits in her own secluded position on a working Devon farm. The views over the glorious Devon hills are truly captivating. There is nothing to distract you from gazing at the fields, hills, woodland and distant church spire (well, maybe some sheep and lambs frolicking).
