Take National Trust walks over cliffs, woodlands,Moors & Cleveland Way. Located on main bus routes and short walk from pubs, restaurants & parks. Dogs welcome at £25 charge earlier/late check in or out times possible on occasions/request. Driveway parking not suitable for large cars-no issue for off street parking

Situated in the open countryside with things to do locally and also a close drive to York or Beverley with numerous tourist attractions, lots of bars and restaurants. Locally you have Allerthorpe water park and various golf clubs in the area nearest being KP Club in Pocklington. On the foot of the Yorkshire wolds with lots of scenic drives and walks.

Granny House on the edge of the National Park is a spacious eco-friendly farmhouse on the old pack horse route from Gargrave to Settle. Luxury accommodation including great design, a chef's kitchen, 3 large bedrooms, shower and bathroom with amazing panoramic views from every window. The gardens are very pretty. The setting is very rural with sheep and cows in the surrounding fields. The night sky is dark for star gazing. You will have a piano, a guitar and wifi is super fast.

WIFI + smart TV with Freeview Access by steep track, unsuitable for wheelchair. 5 minutes to village shop. 4 miles Alston for supermarkets, antiques, wholefood shop, petrol, pharmacy, steam railway. Hadrian's Wall 1 hour, Northern Lakes 60 minutes, Newcastle 90 mins, Manchester 150 mins. The most relaxing place we know.
